Great product, albeit a bit expensive. Sizing advice could use greater clarity.
I love the Peanut, and use it with both of my dogs at least 3 times a week. It took a few sessions for each of them to adjust, but it is now one of their favorite forms of exercise. My Flat-Coated Retriever is competitive in both conformation and agility, and I think this has really helped his performance in both areas. In particular, I think it's great pre-training for dogs a little too young to begin formal agility training, since it simultaneously builds important core muscles and helps in preparing them to deal calmly and enthusiastically with some of the scarier equipment, most notably the seesaw. The Peanut is also a great way to exercise dogs on cold, windy, and/or rainy days. Almost every dog owner is occasionally guilty of looking outside and deciding that the weather is just too awful for a long walk, and in this respect, I've found physiorolls to be a lifesaver. My dogs are both pretty fit, but a good session on the Peanut doing otherwise basic stuff -- sit, down, stand, high-five, etc -- is enough to wear either of them out, and the entire workout can be performed inside. In figuring out how to get started, I watched the included DVD, looked quite a bit to YouTube videos for guidance, and also found that the blog on the manufacturer's website includes a post with photographs of various exercises.I do, however, think the sizing advice is a little iffy. Most people are liable to look to the typical breeds column of the size chart in figuring out which ball to buy, but if you go this route in ordering, you may find yourself with something larger than you really need, and the bigger Peanuts take up a LOT of space. I think the more useful column on the size chart is actually the one that gives sizing advice based on length of the dog's natural stance. The larger of my dogs is an 80-pound retriever pushing the upper limits of his breed standard, and while the breed advice would have led me in the direction of ordering a 70cm ball, the 60cm is adequate based on the stance-length recommendations, and is a more appropriate size for doing exercises where front paws are on the ball and rear paws remain on the ground. Plus these things are big. I have both a 60cm and an 80cm ball, but the 80cm is in storage because it is just too massive, and my dogs both work more confidently on the smaller ball. While more surface area is okay for some exercises, a ball that is too big can limit other exercise options, so my recommendation based on personal experience is to measure your dog's stance length and order the smallest size that fits based on that number. One more things to be aware of: these things take a long time to inflate, and getting them blown up to size is a workout. I watched an entire 90 minute movie while trying to get the 80cm ball ready to go for the first time.Overall, definitely recommend. While I find the price to be more than a little high, the Peanut has been so beneficial to my dogs that I wouldn't want to be without it.

Great product. I got this for my dog for ...
Great product. I got this for my dog for some core strengthening excersises. This thing is terrific! I practice sit, down, stand on it about three times a week and she also does tricks on it as we'll, like shake and bow. It took her awhile to work up to turning around on the ball, but these short workouts do tire her out in the evenings before we settle in for the night. The ball popped almost 3 months after I purchased it, probably a combination of too much sunlight exposure and perhaps a too sharp toenail :-(I ended up calling Fitpaws directly and they were wonderful to work with! All I had to do was send a picture of the broken ball and a new one is on its way :-) Kudos to great customer service! Also I found out I could be using a much smaller ball, so be careful with the sizing when ordering.

great product
great product for improving core strength, cheaper here than the web site. Just be sure and order the platform to help hold the ball in place while initially training

Works great, but make sure you have an air pump
Works great, but make sure you have an air pump! No way you'd want to hand pump that whole thing! You can always bring it to a bike shop or something, but for me at least, I had to fill it up, wait a few days, then fill some more, so having an air mattress pump made it a bit easier.

I had to contact customer support and they were awesome about helping me
My dog loves this. I got it to help strengthen his core muscles. I had to contact customer support and they were awesome about helping me. You will probably need an air compressor to fully blow this all the way up but you can still use it even by just using the hand pump that comes with it.

Help my dog avoid surgery
My dog had an ACL injury and needed re-hab. I was trying to avoid surgery. Daily work on the peanut helped him heal along with acupuncture. It is sturdy and well made. My suggestion using it is to also get a harness that has a handle so you can be sure your dog is stable.
