Blaupunkt AMP3000D AMP3000D 3,000-Watt-Max Monoblock Class D Amp

Installed this, use it for a 15" rockford in a sealed box. Hits hard, this amp is actually oversized for the 250w/500w ratings for the rockford 15" (2 ohm) I have the gains lowered, and use the bass remote knob. As others stated, this isnt a 3000w amp. It is rated at 386 rms 4 ohm, and 655w rms at 2 ohm, per a "bench test" i found online. Even at that, this is a bargain at this price point. The connection points are robust and solid, accepts bare wire.has gain, bass boost, phase control, and low pass filter. I dont use these since i have a DSP. A bargain for $70 bucks. Any of the "big name" amps would easily 2-4 times as much for the same power, and prob not work any better. Being class D makes it efficient and keeps it cooler. Would def buy again.

very good sound quality but demands alot of power ,cant say i wouldnt buy it again i just wish i had a big enough power supply to use it in my home since its not being used in my truck right now due to a blown engine ,but it is also for a car and not recomended for home use even tho i try anyway cause im a music fanatic and i love the sound quality and on speakers it will dwfinatly push 2 sets of ten inch dual voice coil compatition kickers i have 4 total each rating at 600 watts and this amp is very good for powering them all at the same time just make sure you have the battery power or at least a back up battery cause this thing really sucks the juice but puts out emaculent power and bass just be sure to get the right size speaker wire and battery cords i recomend monster power wires and battery power hook ups and it wouldnt hurt to add a high power capacitor to the mix aswell to keep your bass up and you car lights from dimming cause when the bass hits and you dont have a CAPACITOR ON BOARD YOUR LIGHTS WILL DIMM

Don’t buy!!!! Please I’m begging you don’t wast your time on this POS it clips all the time and sounds like it only puts out 150 watts MAX! I owe a 1994 punch 40 I was hoping to replace but this POS can’t even mach the power or come anywhere close to the sound quality. Please don’t be like me and just hope for the best…just save your money and buy a Skar amp or even better buy yourself a nice old school used amp. Trust me please this amp can not deliver on anything…

First off, this is a great amp. Blaupunkt has been around a long time and used to be heavyweight in the car audio game, but their quality came into question maybe a couple of decades ago. The price is very low, but it's not a "cheap" amp. It has good power for the audio enthusiast. It is built solid and the basic bass knob makes it an even better value. Its efficiency is decent at 4ohms but you lose efficiency at higher gain with lower impedance, which is not unusual. It has a boost for very low notes that is a good feature. BUT......don't concern yourself with the 3000 watt max claim. Don't bother with the max claim for any amp. If you expect to EVER hit 3000 watts peak, forget it. Not with 120 total amps of fusing. You can get 800 watts RMS at 1ohm, and even 1000 watts RMS, but I can not say how long you can do it. I would not try it. Personally, I never run an amp at full gain, and I don't need (or want) much more than 500 constant watts of bass playing at high volume. I have this amp moving two 12inch subs rated at 1300 watts RMS together wired to 1ohm at 3/4 gain on the amp and it's thunder and doesn't get real hot. I would recommend this amp to anyone who wants a solid hitter with more than entry level type power. I love mine.

I’m not sure about the whole 3000 watt I have a 1500 that seems to be about the same but for the price not bad I been pushing it pretty hard for awhile and it’s doing good would buy again

Great for the price. Really didn’t plan on getting a system, but the 4runner I ended up buying was already wired up and ready to go so naturally I ended up on marketplace looking and you know how that goes. Long story short I ended up with an old school Rockford Fosgate power series sub in a lousy box with a crappy amp. This was kind of a side project while I was dumping big money into lift, tires, ect. I didn’t want to spend big money, but the old 150wrms amp wasn’t cutting it so i shopped around and decided to give this one a try. Is it the best amp I’ve ever had? No. Is it the best amp I’ve ever had in terms of cost to power and sound quality? Absolutely. Pay attention to the rms rating and read through the comments for the real world numbers, this is not a 3000w amp you’d get from Kicker, JL, Fosgate, ect, but it matched up great for my t1 10, and I wouldn’t be afraid to buy to buy another amp from blaupunkt going off of the same principle if I decide to upgrade subs in the future. Miles ahead of the 1500w planet audio amp it replaced in both power and quality for only $20-$30 more on Amazon. Bottom line, if you find yourself in a situation similar to mine I’ve already done the research and field testing for you. Can’t beat it for the money.

Only just got chance to unstal lol and i bought it in 2024 at first abit sceptical but an absolute good amp and would definitely buy again

The set came with panels not screwed. Rca inpur is wobbly. Can't even power up my sub... This is junk.

No where near it’s rated power, however for the price it pushes decent power. A good budget amp
