SBC 350 using AC Delco PF454 filter
Worked great on my SBC 350 installed with paper gasket and AC Delco PF454 filter. No leaks whatsoever

Great replacement to get the old style oil filter onto a 5.7 vortec. The old filter housing with the lines for the oil cooler leaked like a sieve. Put this on instead and now there’s no oil leak and I can fit the bigger filter. Plus it’s easier to replace the filter now!!

No more drips! Works great!
It work great, eliminated the oil cooler system and no more leaks. No gasket or bolts are included, whether or not you need a gasket is debated. It would be nice to have a definitive opinion on that and bolts are easy to get.

Good quality
Good quality. Doesn't come with gasket, so I ordered one. Mistake, had a leak using gasket. Took out gasket and no more leaks! Used on 93 5.7 to bypass oil cooler.

No more Leaks!!!
Very pleased with this product. My oil cooler lines had a few drips a month for two years. Then last month it got progressively worse to where i had to get a drip pan. It started leaving puddles and spraying my driver’s side wheel well, cv axle and everything in-between. My truck has 151,000 miles. I finally decided to tackle the issue and bought this product, along with a PF454 oil filter. Fairly easy job for backyard mechanic. I wiped everything down after draining oil, removing the old oil filter housing and two oil cooler lines. Put a little oil on large o-ring and snugged the two bolts on this product. Installed new oil filter….has plenty of space all around. Filled with Valvoline 5w-30, full synthetic max life. Drove truck around town and parked her. Checked truck next morning and zero leaks! She is clean and dry. Oh, I also heeded advice of others and added a 1/4 cup brake fluid into the top hole where oil cooler connected to radiator and flushed last little bit of oil out bottom hole. I left both holes open as others recommended…no need to seal off. Hope this helps my fellow backyard mechanics.

The adapter bolted right in and eliminated the oil cooler adapter and hoses.

If you have headers
Wish I could have left the original on the motor, but being in a motor home and with headers on the old 400 sbc, had to sacrifice the oil cooler lines to get things in. Works fine, no leaks
