The link remover only requires gentle force to push the pins from a watchband, so line everything up, give the screw a gentle twist with your thumb and index finger, and if the pin doesn't start to move, back off and try, again. (Also, make sure you are pushing it the right way by checking the arrow on the inside of the band.) It's not a professional set, but for a few bucks, you can save much more on basic watch and band repairs. Review: Four Stars - Awesome set. Did not come wit the bag for some reason unknown. Cheaply and poorly made and rusty
This product was received in a zip-lock bag and upon inspection I found the pliers rusty and the pincher end did not meet to secure a firm hold on tiny parts. A very cheap looking set of tools. I intend to return them.

Works as it should, but it rather cheap quality. Also worth noting, the one I got did not come with the nylon carrying bag. All in all, I would suggest getting one of the higher priced models as I would expect them to be better quality and complete.

Overall, an excellent value for minor watch fixes...
Nice set of tools for minor repairs and adjustments on watches. The tools worked well and are exactly as pictured, and do not include a bag, but that was no big deal since any plastic bag will due to keep the items together.

All tools you need to repair a watch yourself! I've saved money and time buying and using this repair kit. Easy to use!

all parts came, useful set
a relative who has a watch hobby suggested this kit when i just needed to replace some cotter pins in my seikos. decent set for the price, i didn't need all the tools but they are there if i need them. Plus its better than paying someone $20 just to replace some pins. and it was kinda of cool to do -it myself.
