Anthology

Some faves I haven't heard since I over played a couple of their albums in the late '70s. An underrated English band with really good harmonies, clever lyrics. Middle of the road rock, not too heavy not sleepy, catchy power pop type tunes (although I don't believe they are considered power pop by that eclectic genre followers)

I only really like just two songs. The sound quality is great,not compressed like todays recordings.You may know,or like more songs,than me. I got this CD after going over some cassette tapes that I was converting to digital format.Two songs by Charlie where on one."She loves to Be In Love" and "L.A. Dreamer" off an LP I no longer have.I just wanted a better copy of the two songs.

This CD has almost all my favorite Charlie songs. Audio quality is excellent. Highly recommended

The 1 track that is included in this greatest hits package that was noticeably omitted from the 2000 release " Best of Charlie" is "Good Morning America." As it was a big hit as well as the title track from their 5th album, I was shocked that it was not included. Now with this 2007 package, they have corrected that error. A must have for true fans of the band! :-)

Excellent anthology, just wished it had Don't Look Back on it, one of their best songs....
