Description
- This is IR infrared obstacle avoidance sensor module, and it can't measure length.
- You have to be very careful about dialing in the potentiometer to get it set to the desired range. A fraction of a degree turn may be all you need.
- The sensor module light is adaptable to the environmen. It has a pair of infrared transmitting and receiving tube, tube infrared emit a certain frequency, when detecting direction meet with obstacles (reflecting surface), reflected infrared receiving tube. After the comparator circuit processing, green indicator will light up, at the same time signal output interface to output digital signal (a low level signal).

good quality
very helpful adjustable distance sensing. which helps with projects considering you can adjust it in a project and real world scenario rather than programming the distance or trying to fiddle around with the actual distance of the Infrared LEDS which could be a hassle for that "sweet spot"
