Can the pre out on the 6000a be used for a sub output?

I haven't tried but see no reason why not as long as the output volume can be controlled by the 6000a.

Followup ? Is there any trick to get the 6000A to connect to mp3 player via bluetooth?

No there is not. Amp is visible to all devices.

Can it be connected to a usa common outlet? in the back picture i see that it says 220-240v which is more like the uk standard.

Yes, any Audiolab we sell will be set for USA voltage. Thanks - Hi-Fi Heaven
