For the price, this is a lovely pen. Writes smoothly and feels good in the hand. It has a nice weight to it and is comfortable to hold. Because of the price point, the final finish of the pen is a bit lacking. You can notice the edges between the pen body and the metal bands. There is a distinct edge. Had there been a smooth feeling along all of the body where there are bands then this pen would have been great. Would highly recommend it for the price.

Having used a fountain pen regularly since primary school, I do believe that I'm qualified to pass an opinion and I'm really impressed with the quality of this pen. There's an old adage 'If it looks to be too good to be true then it probably is' but this pen not only looks good but performs well too. Just look at the price and compare it with a Cross Townsend black lacquer fountain pen... Having used Sheaffer, Cross and Parker fountain pens in the past, I know that you're not always guaranteed to get a perfect nib but I was pleasantly surprised to find that there was no scratchiness with this pen's nib unit and the ink flow is really good from a standard universal cartridge - and you can buy a pack of universal cartridges from any stationers. I'm using Helix Oxford cartridges at the moment which you can buy through Amazon and they are reasonably priced. This fountain pen is extraordinarily good value and I'd have no hesitation in recommending it to a prospective buyer.

Purchased as a leaving gift for a work college this pen was a great value fountain pen that looked better and cost less than in-store supermarket options available to me. The Good Looked great Built-in ink pump Writes superbly The Bad Lack of presentation box The pen looked good and felt premium enough when given as a small gift. The pen had a glossy finish and print. The ink pump built into the pen was very easy to use and worked well despite me never using one before. Writing with the pen felt smooth and looked very professional. The only downside was that it was delivered in a clear plastic poly bag that made it look cheap. If it was delivered in a pen box or gift box it would be receiving 5 stars.

I'd read reviews of the Jinhai X450 pens on various sites and Youtube where the pen was praised for being a great "beginner" fountain pen. I ordered this because it looked nice in the photo, but wondered if it would be "cheap" in appearance, feel and use. I am blown away by this pen. It writes like butter - so much smoother than the disposable fountain pens I've been using. The construction is beautiful. Although the materials used to make this must be cheap given the price of the pen, it doesn't feel cheap. Some people have remarked in other reviews that the pen is heavy. It is substantial and feels like it is made from a good quality metal. I like that. If you don't like a heavy pen, this is probably not for you. If you do then I can recommend this pen. It is a bargain. I love it.

This is a heavy ink pen but feels nice. The nib is fine but ink flows well enough. I prefer a wider nib myself but it's okay. Colours available are great, I wish I could justify buying another. It's a nice starter pen and well priced.

A copy of a well known design at a fraction of the price you really will struggle to fault this pen for the price. Nice chunky lacquered metal barrel and cap, a two tone medium nib and ergonomic grip give the pen a high end feel. The nib is generous with ink when writing giving a nice wet fee, maybe a little too wet at times. The pen feels better balanced to use unposted. The cap gives a reassuring click when put in place. The lacquer finish is deep and well applied. A great looking and feeling pen

Arrived on time. However when I removed the pen too the inner part of the top became detached. I have attempted ti use a strong glue to secure it but without success. It’s trash really & im so disappointed. It’s a 3rd rate item cheap & NOT cheerful

Caneta robusta e pesada com várias posições de escrita. Após utilizar deve ser guardada com a ponta para baixo sob pena de secar. Excelente relação qualidade/preço.

Es una pluma estilográfica que escribe muuuy bien, evidentemente no tiene un gran tacto a la hora de escribir comparada con otras plumas ‘caras’, pero es de las mejores plumas que tengo y relación calidad precio es insuperable. No dudaría comprar otra o recomendarla.

Stylo plume très classe, ça ne fait pas toc du tout, j'ai pris une pointe M qui fonctionne super bien. Attention au choix de l'encre: j'avais commandé des cartouches de la même marque dont l'encre s'écoulait mal sur du papier un peu glacé (des copies doubles de grande marque), alors que sur du papier un peu plus absorbant pour imprimante c'était nickel. Je pensais que le stylo était en cause, mais en fait non: il fonctionne super bien sur tout papier pour peu qu'on l'alimente avec une encre ou des cartouches de bonne qualité (j'ai testé Watermann, Herbin, Montblanc, aucun problème).
