Not a great scanner but good for so much more
The cameras got it sent out for the purposes I had proposed for it it does however do other things that I do like keeping it can hook it up with Windows hello and works great for depth sensing not recommended for 3D scanning by the 5:15 instead

Price is very high on amazon
Bought the same camera directly from Intel for 199.00 USD not sure why I would want to pay $1082.55 USD for the same product .

Defective piece and old piece sent.....No package no cable.....Worst experience
I didn't received the usb-c cable and Tripod. Even the button on the top of real sense is broken. My stereo depth camera is also not working. They have sent the used product, while in the description it was mentioned brand new. Also the stereo camera is not working. They didn't sent any pacakage, neither the usb cable. I need this camera urgently for my project. The button on the top, seems to be permanently inserted inside.

Depth accuracy is not even close to 2%
I bought this camera on e-bay for my R&D company. I had to track 6cm high objects at a distance of 2 meters. Bottom line: the accuracy of the camera is not even close to the declared "2%". I had 1-sigma standard deviation of the distance about 5-6 centimeters, and 2-sigma (i.e. 95% confidence interval) at around 12 centimeters. Which is ~5% of the distance.

Becareful... Amazon will try to sell you a new item (camera only) with no retail package
I purchased this item thinking it was the retail version of the product. All I received was the camera in a plastic wrapping missing the usb-c cable and tripod. If you want to count the cover that attaches to the usb-c port of the camera, you can count that too as missing. You can tell on the wrapper it says NewItem. But the scuff marks says otherwise. Item works but still disappointed.

Depth frame not working after few times using
I bought the D435i from this seller few months ago, the depth frame input was always not stable, failed to get depth stream randomly. Tried to install at least 10 different versions of firmware, and eventually couldn't stream depth frame at all. Then I had to buy another D435i from other source and it works perfectly with my application.

Works only at short distances. Tons of noise beyond 10 ft.
It works good, but the maximum distance rating is extremely ambitious. The sensor data falls apart beyond 10 ft., and really shouldn't even be used at that distance. It works good at 5 ft. RTABMAP scans are pretty bad due to the huge noise at distance. I'm going to buy a different sensor.

Cobran iva y aranceles pero no te emiten factura.
La webcam es perfecta y con un precio acorde al mercado. El servicio post venta UNA ESTAFA no me han querido emitir factura. Se vende desde USA en el precio está incluido el iva y los de aranceles (casi 90€). Les he escrito varias veces y no contestan, desde Amazon España no pueden hacer nada ni quieren claro. Se quedan con el dinero del arancel en origen, una estafa porque no lo declaran.

Útil a medias!!
La cámara se ve de buena calidad y buenos acabados, pero no hay software de soporte para poderla utilizar, te has de espabilar para instalar los SDK y adjuntar los en alguna aplicación complicada. Antiguamente si que tenían un software pero lo dejaron de desarrollar y ahora no es compatible. Yo la recomendaría para gente especialista y no para aficionados.
