VANGUARD Alta Rise 48 Backpack for DSLR, Compact Camera, Mirrorless Camera, Travel, Black

This is superb quality and really protects the camera gear inside. It feels and looks very high quality with great padding. I wasn’t sure about the yellow internal colour but as the manufacture states, it does make finding what you need in low light situations much easier. With the Alter Rise 33 i can fit a full frame Nikon + thee lenses (including a 70-200mm) flash gun, batteries, chargers and some other bits and pieces. Highly Recommended.

Fantastic camera bag, very good quality, fantastic price

I bought the Alta rise 48. It is difficult to find all of the above attributes in a camera bag. It is even more rarer to find one with side access. I am able to fit in a 150-600 mm + body, 11-20 mm + body, a 24-70 f4, 50mm 1.8, a blower with room to spare. There is still room in the top compartment for a tech pouch with space for camera and laptop charger. Extremely well made. Many backpacks don't come with a waist belt. This one does. Perfect for my needs. Highly recommended. Small gripe - the zipper pulls are black and not easily visible. I bought inexpensive yellow zipper pulls and attached to the zips. It gives a nice accent to the overall look besides the convenience of easily getting to the zips.

I recently bought a new camera and a couple of new lens for it as well. I was looking for something comfortable to carry it in and this bag fit the bill perfectly. I like the sling bag concept and the extra belt was nice too. I like that there is room for some extra gear as well. This is my second Vanguard bag, my other one was for a larger set up and I still use it with that camera and lens. I've had it for a couple of year now and it is still going strong. I'd definitely suggest it above the cheaper alternatives.

Bags and backpacks are very personal. A bag that one person thinks is great another may find terrible due to differing purposes for the bag. Trying to be objective, the bag seems well made of quality materials. The 6CM expansion is nice and adds versatility for how full you want to pack it. Foam padding is heavy and sturdy and very versatile. Basically the whole inside of the bad is fuzzy leaving nearly infinite placement of the velcro dividers. Pocket on the outside flap is gusseted so that it can actually expand a little and hold things more than half and inch thick. That said, the bag is not real big and does not hold a ton of gear. It works perfect for my purpose though! This bag will hold camera with lens attached. Depending on the lens, you may be able to get one to two more lenses in the bag. I use this bag to carry a Canon 90D lens down in the bag with the 18-135mm IS USM attached. There is just barely enough room to tuck the 10-18mm lens under it at the bottom of the bag leaving the other two vertical spaces in the back for additional lenses, flash, etc. For me, it's a flash and 70-300mm lens in those compartments. My purpose for this was to be fairly light and portable with enough gear to handle the majority of basic situations so that I always have a camera with me. There are some really nice backpacks out there that hold way more gear, multiple cameras, drones and and multiple tripods, but they can be very cumbersome for daily carry.

Canon t7 with kit lenses fits ok. Not perfect, due to the way the dividers are made. Yes, you can move them but not any way you want. The velcro is just on one side which limits the configurations that are possible. Overall though, a solid 4.5 rating. Very, very solid pack.

I bought this to carry more of my camera equipment with me. I found it to be comfortable and it holds a good bit. I’ve not been disappointed and look forward to many uses!
