needed to use a place mat with it because of the groves. Used this to do my diamond art painting without getting neck pain from the bending over.

It is a bit expensive for what you get.I like the mesh as it does provide ventilation, however, the stand isn't all that stable.There are other smaller foldable stands that are better and offer more value for money if you shop around.

Just received this today. It is just what I need to keep my laptop cool, lovely ventilation, fits great and an added bonus is the slant it puts on the keyboard which makes typing much better than flat to the desk. Should have had one years ago.

This is perfect for a light box, instead of lying flat on my lap or table, I can place it on this stand.I love it.
