Skylanders Giants: Swarm Giant Character

My 9 year old loves the game (and I play just as much as he does since we're usually doing multiplayer). We had three or so of the giants before, so I grabbed this one and another new one to surprise him.It's actually a great character - out of the box has some decent fighting skills, close melee and distance weapons, and great starting health. We spent some time in battles to get some fast cash to level them up a bit and get the upgrades, and it's quite a scrappy giant.My son loves turning it into a cloud of bees to swarm around things and damage them that way.Well built as all of them are.Great addition for those who love the game.

I will start out by saying that i have the 3ds version,witch i hear is completly different than the console version.The good stuff:i got this guy for three dollars about a week ago,his attacks are cool but not as creative as sprocket or eye-brawls. At first i thought all giants were slow. Boy,was i wrong.He is one of my best skylanders as he has good attacks and he is not too slow. Now,about the attacks.....His meelee attack is stinger slice,witch is just what it sounds like. He also has a ranged attack in witch he fires projectiles out of his stingers.Overall,he is worth 2.99,if not 14.99

Bought this and a 3 pack and he loves the characters.*** ZOOM IN ON THE PACKAGE - there is a blue box on the characters that says for which of 3 games, Giants, Spyro or Swap Force, some work in more than one, you might find it a better value if you have 2 games to buy the characters that work in both.***FOR WHICH GAME SYSTEM - also found after some research that the reason the characters do not have a system (PS3, Xbox, etc...) is they are interchangeable, it is the pad they go on that needs to be for your system.

My four year old is really into Skylanders. He loves these toys. He really liked the bee, so Santa hooked him up. As his dad I will play the game on the PS3 while he watches, so here is my opinion. Swarm is fun enough, but he does not give me the satisfaction that I get from using Crusher or Tree Rex. Those guys are heavy hitters and leave a path of destruction. Of course swarm is a little more nimble, but not enough to make up for not being a heavy hitter like the other 2 giants we own. Still a fun toy for my sun and pretty fun in the game.

Arrived on time but was not "BRAND NEW FACTORY SEALED" as described. It arrived in the shipping case but not sealed, it was crudely stapled shut. Upon opening it I saw it was dusty with multiple scuff marks on it. The character card was bent, as well as where the wings connected to the figure, it looks pulled away and slightly torn. The bottom of the based was also heavily scuffed on the outer edge. The figure was obviously used and out of its packaging for quite a while and not treated well in that time. There is no reason for this as these figures are designed to be usable in their retail box for this very reason. I'm disgusted and disappointed to receive my item in this state when it was advertised as brand new. "games_for_sale", As a seller you are a liar and a disgrace. I will never again purchase anything from you, and whenever given the chance sway others from purchasing items from you as well.

My little brother immediatley took to this character. To me I saw that though in the original packaging, it was obviously put back and played with. But this had no effect on the gameplay. I watched him and it had no glitches, no scratches and played fine. My little brother loves playing as "the bee guy" and roaming around like a bunch of bees in the games as an up-grade. Overall I was highly satisfyed. If my little brother is happy and having fun, then I'm happy.

First I have to say that my son is the Skylanders player, not myself, so as far as the characters function in the game, all I can say is that my son didn't seem to have any complaints. I am giving this only 3 stars because the wing of the action figure fell off the first day and I had to super glue it back together....rather disappointing
