EVERY PLANT LIVED!!
Having bought boxes bare root strawberries from big box stores repeatedly with ZERO success for living plants, I was thrilled to get these healthy bare roots! Followed the planting instructions (including refrigeration for overnight until I had proper place to plant) and care to keep the crowns above soil- 100 percent of these plants sprouted new leaves in days- even the two that looked dry! They are thriving and blooming and save the two plants the squirrels swiped, we are anticipating a BIG strawberry harvest! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Outstanding!!!!Less than a day in the ground ALL 25 are sprouting plenty on new growthPlanted in top level potting soil, watered to the the point they were drowned in water, checked all roots to make sure they were not exposed. I also fanned the root base when planting. Tremendous root bases on all of themHonestly, I expected at least 1/3 to have no chance

Plants are thriving!!!
I wanted to try my hand at growing strawberries, after doing some research I decided bare root strawberry plants was the best option for me. I took a chance on these and I'm very happy that I did. They were delivered quickly. I planted them in solo cup the day after they arrived, I sit them outside for 6 hours a day and water them every 3 days. The plants are thriving and I will be transplanting them to the yard this weekend. I would highly recommend this company

Mostly all dead
Got the bare roots and followed the directions to rehydrate the roots and get them planted to the letter. Got them in some little peat pots and all was well and you can see we were off to a great start. Then I started acclimating them to the outside. An hour, then a couple, then more.... And they all started dying. I got 6" nursery pots and replanted the ones I'm hoping to save. I thought I was doing everything right. So frustrating. So, ordered more bare roots. We'll see how this goes. No more peat pots for me!Edit 03-14The dirt I made for these strawberries was/is immaculate. Followed all directions to the letter. Got a soil moisture meter to verify. Pots have holes in the bottom. Sand in the mixture to allow proper drainage. The 2 in the hanging baskets are limping along. The 2 in the fabric bag are limping along. Everyone else has died. I am so over this garbage. $50 spent to have MAYBE 4 survive is NOT good financial sense. This company is crossed off my list. Absolute garbage! As a fellow Vet I am supremely disappointed 😞

Great strawberries
Ordered 25 last year, 50 this year. The shipping seemed slow both times, but they were well packaged and all survived. I'm in Zone 9 (Texas). Our soil is dense and sandy. I added some ground oyster shell, gave the plants a good soak pre-planting, and that was it. Tons of 1-2 inch firm, sweet berries (the photo provided for this item is accurate). Healthy plants the entire season (no wilt or blight). If we don't overwinter these, I will definitely be ordering them again.
