GOOD. Maybe not the best.
Good vocal and mostly instrumental music. Some surprising. Forgot how good some of it was way back from I watched the series. But I will need to get other soundtracks to get some of my more favorite music. "MagmaDiver" is really cool though. exellent!
i have almost 50 anime ost's including all of the evangelion ost's and i have to say they are all very nice to listen to. there are some mediocre songs, but above all this soundtrack as well as the other evangelion osts are worth buying

A Nice Soundtrack
A very nice soundtrack, albeit it is a little on the quiet side by comparison to modern music and sound tracks, but that is something you find with most older musical scores and foreign music. At least that's been my experience. I have ironically never seen the anime, so I have no idea how well the soundtrack on CD represents the soundtrack as actually heard in the anime itself.
