8GB microSD High Capacity (microSDHC) Card - (Class 4) - 8 GB

I still have a portable GPS that I take in a vehicle that is old enough it doesn't have one and in rental vehicles. It needed more storage to update the maps. This is the memory it takes. Worked just fine and loaded the new maps I needed.

This card was very inexpensive which I definitely appreciate and works well! I was thinking with it being a class 4 that the video may not record well onto it,but it did surprisingly well! I have heard from other techies that if you go lower in the class of the micro sd card,that your videos will not look great or turn out well at all. It may still be very true,but just be meant more for higher technical cameras that they use in the cameras for the local studio I do my television show through since they are of professional status and need the best possible to not malfunction or anything. If you are buying this micro sd card for your home camera or maybe even a little grade higher,it will definitely work for you! For the price I purchased this for,it was definitely a steal!

I purchased this to replace my Garmin nuvi 50LM 2GB SD card it came with (tried a map update and it said my device needed more memory capacity or I would have to do only a regional map download). After some research to determine what SD card would work best I discovered they use SanDisk branded cards if you buy from Garmin and the maximum capacity limit is 8MB. I could not find that the speed class of the microSD mattered, no mention of speed requirements anywhere on their website. Long story shorter: it works fine. Very reasonably priced, would not advise anyone to buy the Garmin "branded" card if they have a choice. I have been using my Garmin GPS with the new SD card 4-5 days a week for several weeks, have encountered no problems. Did not give it 5 stars because it's just a microSD card; I don't "love it." It would require a more demanding application for me to have that kind of feeling about it.

One of the map updates a couple years ago for my GPS required additional storage utilizing the micro SD slot. At the time the only spare I had was a class 10 16GB which was wasteful and overkill for the 2GB it needed. I finally got around to replacing it so the 16GB can be used elsewhere for devices that need it. Read speeds are what I expected, works perfectly and at a great price.

Perfectly fine

This Micro SD card works perfectly fine and I bought it for 5 dollars and it was like 20.00 or so dollars. It came fast and when I put it into my tablet it worked perfectly fine. I had a SanDisk 4gb card in my tablet before I bought this one, so I wanted more space and I love how easy SanDisk works so I bought the bigger gb one and it works fine. It came in a white cardboard envelope with the SD card in the plastic case. It doesn't bother me that it wasn't it the plastic packaging you see at the store, it was easier to open and it worked like it would if it was in the store packaging. I will be buying more in the future.

When I first purchased this, it showed both the card and the adapter. It only came with the card. The card works fine but I bought this to have both. My first review wasn't approved so this is the second attempt. The picture now only shows the single card. I'm glad they fixed that at least but wish they had done it before I purchased this assuming, based on photos, that it came with both pieces.
