MDF® Pulse Time 2-in-1 Digital LCD Clock and Single Head Stethoscope

I ordered this stethoscope to replace my expensive missing cardiology stethoscope. I have been a nurse for 30 years and I was very surprised at how well I could hear with one. I love the clock and use it all of the time and I have quit wearing a watch. I would buy this one again as it is just as good as my expensive one and maybe even a little better.

I love this stethoscope. I've owned a littmans as well, and felt that this may be a quality alternative. I actually like it a bit more as far as sound goes, and the pulse timer is a great benefit. I hate having to wear a watch because of germs, and this eliminates the need. I'm getting a watch and great quality stethoscope for a great price. The all black is a sharp look as well.

I ordered burgundy (a color other than black that would highlight the tic marks). I received light blue instead. It was a pretty color, but close to impossible for me to see the white tic marks in that color. Wrote a "1-star" seller review because of the snafu and received a very gracious email from MDF with an offer to send a replacement scope and email a pre-paid Fedex label to return the one I had received in error. I substituted black instead of burgundy to maximize the contrast. I'm happy with my choice. Regarding the snafu: I discovered that a second label plus barcode specifying the burgundy color was applied, apparently, at the Amazon warehouse. It was taped partially over the original label specifying the product as light blue. I'll leave it to Amazon (not MDF) to identify the root cause for the mis-labeling of the box.As for the stethoscope, it provides a really clear sound and seems lighter weight than my ADC cardiology scope (which I also enjoy very much). The ear pieces are comfortable and the product is useful - especially when/if I forget my watch. I'm pleased with my purchase. The cost was reasonable, the warranty/parts replacement excellent and the MDF Customer Service was excellent.

Thus is the best stethoscope I've ever had and I've had and worked with quite a few over the years. I love the sound amplifier which is great for me because I can barely hear anyways! Will definitely buy again and recommend to everyone.

I love this! I bought the light blue. This is great, especially with the clock and second hand. It helps with counting respiration without having to look at my watch. I got plenty of compliments on it. Best part is....warranty for life!

I work in a busy Primary Care Office, and I take vital signs on nearly every patient. This stethoscope is great! It’s comfortable to wear around my neck all day, has superb acoustics and the built in clock is really helpful. I prefer this to my old Littmann. Highly recommend!

Love it. I can hear breath sounds perfectly with this. I deducted a star because it's heavy and fits awkwardly into a holster. Otherwise it's a great scope

I have purchased and returned this item; the stethoscope itself is beautiful, feels like a high end quality stethoscope, however when trying to auscultate with it, disappointment reared its ugly head.Not only could I hear only from certain angles, but the sounds were not clear and room ambience was not canceled at all, I have tried all the ear plugs but to no avail.My apologies to the company however I found this to be unacceptable, comparing their good quality item with a 7.99£ stethoscope, the 7.99 one did not look as well made, but defiantly provided better sound.In their defense, perhaps I was sent a faulty item, but I was not willing to risk having to send another one back.Bottom line: -I would not recommend this model for auscultation of acutely unwell patients

Surprisingly good quality. I have been a Littman fan for years and bought this as a cheaper thing as I tend to lose them! In fact there is no perceptible difference in quality to the Littman.This particular model has an LCD clock: good idea in theory but the face is too small and dark to be of any use, and you have to look directly at it to see it. This might give the patient the false impression that you are staring at their chest! (I use it on dogs and cats so they don't complain about such delicate matters but human patients ...)

A good stethoscope for beginners like the clock but not sure how useful it is. It stopped working after a few weeks but didn't really use it much. But overall not a bad stethoscope

Its a great quality product , not a medical professional so brought it as an enthusiast. I was able to clearly hear my heartbeat , and its a well made product that looks sturdy.

I have a heart condition and this is perfect for monitoring my heart rhythm

A really nice stethoscope, flexible tubing and nice addition of the clock (sacrifices the bell side for this). Good construction and quality - overall very pleased.

Finding it difficult to get used to

Ich habe mir das Stethoskop für den alltäglichen Gebrauch im Rettungsdienst gekauft. Für die Auskultation ist es aus emeiner Sicht vollkommen ausreichend. Der Kundendienst und die Erstattung von Ersatz Produkten von MDF ist sehr gut! Was ich bemängeln muss ist, dass die Uhr vollkommen nutzlos ist. Die Uhr läuft grundsätzlich 3 Sek. Zu langsam und verstellt sich so pro Tag um ca. 1h. Somit ist eine Puösmessung zwar möglich aber es nervt unheimlich. Also gutes Stethoskop fpr einen guten Preis, aber lieber ohne Uhr.

Habe mir für die präklinische Notfallmedizin ein eigenes Stethoskop gekauft, da die gestellten vom Arbeitgeber nicht die besten sind. Diese ist ausreichend für meine Zwecke. Kann damit alle relevanten Szenarien abarbeiten. Guter Zusatz ist die Uhr !!!
