What happens if I switch to Russian and my computer goes to sleep. Will I be able to enter my password to get back into my system?

You will have to unplug the keyboard, let it switch to the English default, re-enter your password, then plug in your keyboard again. Recommend simply disabling the password feature if you're using for a long time.

How do I make it so that I'm typing in cyrillic?

If you're using Windows, go to your Control Panel and type in "Region and Language." From there go to the tab that says "Keyboards and Languages" and click on "Change keyboards..." You'll be able to search for a different keyboard to add, and you can switch between English and Russian keys at any time by pressing ALT+Shift.

Acceptable quality, but expensive

For a keyboard which is at this price range, the quality is poor. The body can be twisted easily and the keys are so spaced that I have a hard time distinguishing groups of Function Keys and also the navigation keys are oddly placed. I always keep pressing scroll lock instead of home and F4/F5 are always mixed up as well. Yes, not easy to find Russian keyboards, so there is that. Try stickers first is my recommendations. If they don't work (i hated their feel), then switch to the keyboard. Laser etched and keyboard feel is otherwise all true and good.
