50 meters of brand new Ritza 25 Tiger waxed polyester thread for hand sewing. THE THREAD COMES NOT ON A SPOOL. You will get a piece of 50 meters thread winded to cardboard and placed in the protective plastic bag. Ritza 25 Tiger waxed polyester thread also knows as "tiger" thread. The thread is finely braided and is extremely strong. It comes lightly waxed to hold its place and will not gum up your projects like many other waxed threads! It's got the perfect amount of wax, it doesn't fray and it just looks nicer on my projects. I like that I can buy a shorter length of the thread, while I'm deciding what my favorite colors are. The full size spools aren't cheap and this carded thread is enough to do several projects. Right now, I'm really enjoying The "Amber Glow" color to match with leather that dyed with Fiebing's light brown Pro Dye. It's also great that the thread comes with John James needles, they are the best. I prefer the 1/0 size for matching 1mm thread. They are slightly larger and easier to thread. But the size that comes with this Ritza thread does work.

Everything about Tiger Thread is great. It's got the perfect amount of wax, it doesn't fray and it just looks nicer on my projects. I like that I can buy a shorter length of the thread, while I'm deciding what my favorite colors are. The full size spools aren't cheap and this carded thread is enough to do several projects.
