A Good Movie
This is a very entertaining movie. Though it does not follow the original it has a fairly good story line though the Russian involvement is a bit of a stretch. This said, it is an entertaining movie with a lot of action. The quality of this DVD is very good, sound and picture are quite good.

The acting was good and I loved the actual location was in Africa. Hallmark Entertainment produced another quality film. It was a 2 part series. When it ended I was hoping there was more I enjoyed it that much.

Fun to watch.
I've always liked Patrick S. Had never seen this film, in 2 sections. Enjoyed it for what it is. Really enjoyed acting of tall stranger & the female (witch).

Patrick Swayze, Swashbuckling Adventure
If you liked Patrick Swayze in North & South, you’ll like this video. Yes, this story has been told before, but I think Swayze is a much more manly version than many others. As a fellow Texan, I find him more believable as the handsome, strong adventure!

Ok mini series
Its good because of Patrick Swayze, but doesn't match up to the movies.

Strange but fun and family friendly
My nephews love adventure films but are stallion the young side, finding the right blend of adventure without going overboard on sex or violence can take some effort. I this works well. Allison Doody is given very little to do as the female lead and Patrick swayze as a english jungle guide is kinda crazy but there is something about the world weary mortal humanity in his performance that works better than one might think.

Minor story variation a plus!
Great movie! It's was an enjoyable remake with a few variations in the story which I thought was a plus. I liked this better than the original!
