Entwined with You (Crossfire, Book 3)

I'm a follower of this series, and most reading this review are as well. (If not...stop reading after these parenthesis and buy the 1st book. Seriously do it!) I preordered the book after finishing #2. I generally LOATHE reading series which aren't complete as obviously, if the books are great, I want immediate gratification of what is going to happen, and waiting months to a year can be irksome. I will generally wait until all are completely written, THEN start reading. This series series however, while I still wanted to know what came next, I couldn't turn off the story switch as I have on a few other series. I had to see it through. And eagerly await what is next for an intriguing story. When this book was delivered I went to the reviews just to see the star count it was getting. I wish I hadn't. It almost ruined my reading experience as many people rated merely one star simply because they didn't like the ending. NOT THE Entire STORY or story line.... just THE ENDING. The whole book...great but because it didn't end an unfair one star. I didn't know what the ending was as I tried not to read the reviews just look at the ratings. After I finished the book I went back and read the full justification and was furious. So I spent the whole story waiting for a ball to drop with a terrible conclusion. Instead I got exactly what I received the first two books. Intriguing story lines, multiple plots and sub plots, great charectorization, in depth primary and secondary charectors, heat, passion, drama, clean writing and editing. When I reached the so called horrible end everyone was braying on about, it turned out to be simply the story wasn't over and we have another book coming. I don't see the problem. It's a great story and I'm thrilled there is more to tell. Honestly I would've felt cheated if all of the complex and intriguing story lines that pre-existed this book and the new ones introduced had been gift wrapped up for me rapidly without the level of storytelling I've come to expect from this author and series. I think it's a great story and obviously our ride has not reached its conclusion. For all those reviews complaining the ending sucks...Reader meet a story...story meet a reader. Obviously you are fans of the work why not enjoy that there is more than less while there is still so many unanswered questions? While If there wasn't anything left to be revealed I could understand a bit more...but not when there are as many stones left unturned as there are. While I've been a self proclaimed fan of instant gratification regarding series I must say that some merit the wait until fully published...others you can't wait to read. This book does in spades the latter for me. I'm not ticked off I'm eager. If anyone who posted that the ending is horrible and is not going to read the next...you're review, while I disagree with it, I at least can understand your motivation. If not, and you will read the next, you should be ashamed of your selfish review. It's not the story that disappointed you but rather that all the intriguing questions you have aren't answered. That is what most would call a good read if your eager to know what happens next. In any event...this reader calls this a great read and I highly recommend it to the people who enjoy the genre. This book is engaging and spell binding. I can't wait for the next one. 3 books in and still enough suspense, drama and main and secondary plots to keep the hampster wheel a rolling. I hope potential readers do not let misplaced feelings on reviews spoil what could be a great reading experience for them. Here's looking forward to the next ride around the bend with Eva and Gideon. Awesome book by miles. Also to all reviews who claim greed, could it be that there is more story in the author? Who am I to say what the authors creative inclination is. Seems to me a writer of a multitude of works with generally high ratings wouldn't risk her reputation for a couple more bucks when she already is a best seller. Perhaps she listened to her fans love of this series and since it didn't end as she created she continued. Besides it was public PRIOR TO RELEASE that this wouldn't be a trilogy after all. Raters should rate on quality of product as opposed to what they think may be motivation behind the book. I don't buy a meal or clothes because the seller wants to make cash or because I think they might. I buy based on if I like the product. Same is true for books. Good book is what this is and a 5 star one at that. My other comments are personal opinions at what I feel are unfair reviews. Especially those who say they will check it at library but gave it one star only. Guess the story wasn't that bad for those who are still going to read it after their one star rating. I urge those who agree to give feedback on those reviews that are hypocritical. If not let them be or vote accordingly to your feelings on if the review was truly helpful regarding the content of the book. Authors generally don't want to alienate readers...yet obviously some think it is a great conspiracy. Read and see if book three doesn't still leave you thirsty for more. I'm rather parched myself.

Once again I am rating this series with 5+ stars. I love Gideon and Eva and I will shout it from mountaintops, tall buildings or anywhere else someone will let me speak. Sylvia Day has done it again, completely capturing my heart with her writing. I truly loved every single minute of this book, every single one! I have to say that I had high expectations going into it since I have been crazy in love with the series so far, and it did not disappoint. Their story picks up right where we left off in Reflected In You (thank you for that Sylvia Day!). Eva and Gideon are trying to pick up the pieces of their relationship after Nathan's murder and find their path. The love that is between Eva and Gideon is so powerful it takes my breath away! These two are just meant to be together, like there is some force that has brought them together and will keep them together no matter what challenges they have to face. I think that's one of my favorite things about these two, they fight through it all together, even when they don't realize that is what they are doing. Their crazy passion for each other continues to burn red hot in this book too! They are struggling with external issues that threaten their relationship as well as their internal demons that they continue to deal with. "He was all things to me, everything I wanted and needed in one imperfect man." ~Eva I loved the continued growth we see in Gideon in this book. I really felt like I learned so much more about him, and his love and pure need for Eva. Gideon has changed from the playboy, walking sex god we first met into such a complicated and beautiful man. He is that perfect damaged, tortured alpha male and yet he is vulnerable in a way that just squeezes your heart and steals your breath. He has come to understand his need for Eva and that is not just about great sex but a love so deep he can't live without it. "You'll never lose me, angel," he vowed. Wherever you go, however far, I'll be right there with you." ~Gideon Since the very beginning I admired Eva's strength, she is definitely a tough woman who won't put up with shit from anyone, including Gideon. She stands up to him when needed but also knows when he needs the softness and love from her. She has her own issues to face in this book with her family, Cary and those around her and she works so hard to get through them even when she's ready to break. I also loved the continued stories of many of the other characters in the series. The depth of the other characters makes the story feel whole. I was thrilled with the end of this book, although I was practically jumping up and down when I found out that this is not the end of their story (Squeeee)! I'm so excited to see where Sylvia Day will take them next because it so clearly NOT over! These characters still continue to grow and learn from each other. Another heart squeezing, scorching hot book from Sylvia Day that I will re-read over and over again. This isn't a simple love story, but a journey of two people finding love and hope and learning how accept it from each other. 4.5 Stars As I sat here writing my review, the song Mirrors: Justin Timberlake came on, and it immediately made me think of Eva and Gideon's journey in finding their way back to each other and the realizations they must acknowledge in this book. The meaning behind the chorus of Mirrors was the perfect inspiration for basing my review on since it fits their relationship perfectly, especially after the torment they both endured in Reflected in You. Entwined with You picks up right where Reflected left off and focuses more on the aftermath of Eva and Gideon picking up the pieces and addressing the distressful memories and barriers that tore them apart in the first place. Reflected left me a little anxious and heartbroken when I finished it; I was nervous to see what direction Sylvia Day was going to take Eva and Gideon's relationship or lack thereof in Entwined with You. I became even more apprehensive to crack my book open after reading some mixed reviews, readers were not happy with the third edition and its outcome, but in my humble opinion, it was my favorite book yet! Although I would have loved a bit more at the end, I felt satisfied enough with their advancement that I can't wait for book 4 to release, so we can have more more of them. "I look at you, angel, and I want you so badly. I want to be with you, listen to you, talk to you. I want to hear you laugh and hold you when you cry. I want to sit next to you, breathe the same air, share the same life. I want to wake up to you like this every day forever. I want you. Goddamn it. Wait for me, Eva. I waited my whole life for you." I loved every ounce of vulnerability Gideon gave us (we saw very little of this in the first two books, most of the vulnerability came from Eva) when it came to earning back Eva's trust and love. The vulnerability I saw in him snagged at my heart and kept me engaged as I absorbed major changes in his demeanor. It was something else watching such a strong, dominant, in control passionate man brought to his knees while his carefully built facade fell to pieces. Since Gideon shattered his relationship with Eva, he is left with no other choice but to lower his defenses and expose his soul to the one woman he would travel through hell and back for, and make no mistake Gideon traveled down that road. The thing is when it comes to Eva he feels no guilt in doing whatever it takes to make sure she is protected even if it means destroying both of them in the process. Now it is time for Gideon to face the consequences of his actions, even if they were in the purest light, and deal with the repercussions. "This -he gestured impatiently at himself-"is just a f****** shell. You're what drives me, Eva. Can you understand that? You're my heart and soul. If something ever happened to you, it would kill me, too. Keeping you safe is goddamned self-preservation! Tolerate it for me, if you won't do it for yourself." Our bad boy broke our sassy independent heroine and while it is easy to forgive it is not always easy to forget which can cause hiccups in the process towards mending ones heart. Due to the multiple betrayals in Reflected their relationship suffered from the damage caused by Gideon's actions. It was so bad I wasn't sure how the heck they would come back from all that crazy. However, this is where I tell you, I think I fell even more in love with Eva, I may even have a slight girl crush on her. Gideon broke her, yes, but she was still the Eva we know and love. She matured in Entwined, her character found peace, inner happiness and balance. It showed in every action and word she used to handle Gideon. Not only did her character develop on a deeper level with Gideon I also saw development with her other personal relationships. It was a nice change to see Eva secure in the knowledge of who she was becoming and where she was going with her life. Gideon however, while I loved the changes we started to see with his character, still has a bit more maturing to do though. Which brings us to the fact that Gideon and Eva finally have a relationship that is starting to resemble some form of stability and normalcy (who am I kidding, I should say normalcy to a certain extent however, the signs are there pointing towards this direction in the near future). Gideon and Eva had to fight so much harder this time around to overcome the wrong that was done. It was quite refreshing to see these two actually work through all of their issues using...wait for it...communication! Yes, you read that right; they actually talked things out, even the tough unpleasant subjects. That isn't to say they still didn't have a few issues with said communication, but it's a start right? I think for me because of this their character growth and chemistry was even more intense as they both navigated through emotionally sensitive territory that is so foreign in nature to them. "Your craving should be for me, angel, not an orgasm. For my body, my hands. Eventually, you won't be able to come without my skin touching yours." These two are so beyond addicted to each other that it sometimes borders on dysfunctional. Eva and Gideon's relationship has to spin on the same axis otherwise if it takes even the slightest detour off this axis everything in their lives becomes a complete mess. I think this may be my favorite aspect of Gideon and Eva. No matter how messed up or flawed they are, they know there is absolutely no one else in this world for either of them. Their hearts are so entwined with each other that as their devotion and love grows stronger it leaves you captivated and breathless. And, this ladies makes for one h*** of a read. Overall, I loved Entwined with you and as I said earlier it is my favorite in this series so far but I have to admit I did have a few small irks throughout the book. It was nice visiting with one of my favorite couples again and Sylvia never disappoints when it comes to these two so these irks weren't big enough to take anything away from their story for me. Even the ending wasn't as bad as it seems, was it perfect, no. There were perfect parts to it and parts that made me shake my head, but it didn't bother me as much as others. I love the Crossfire series so I am excited to see them continue on. More Gideon, yeah I won't be arguing with that any time soon. I love reading other peoples reviews after I've read a book. It makes me laugh at how disconnected people are with the characters, but rather are more interested in the story that is told, and not the characters that create it...typical v@gin@ readers. I wish more people read with their minds and not their emotions and nether parts...they may be surprised how much more fulfilling a book could be when taking the time to truly understand where a character comes from rather than just lusting after one. As a character reader and not a story reader, it is imperative that the main characters develop in a way that is not only consistent, but that makes sense. Rushed development leads to bad book, bad story lines and unrealistic outcomes. The other characters that make up the lives of Eva and Gideon should not be passed over, but rather be addressed, as their comings, goings and own hurdles and developments play a large part in the lives of those around them. They were addressed in this book because that is how life works; we go about our lives until something happens that draws our attentions elsewhere and derail our plans. Sylvia Day did everything right with this book by ensuring we knew no real time passed from the end of the second book to the start of this book, and paced herself with the characters giving them not just proper attention, but the developmental respect they deserved. With so many hurdles they faced in the first two books, I was thrilled that it did not end in three books, as it would be rushed, unrealistic, far-fetched and forgettable. Life is all about the steps we take, the necessary choices, the revelations and the path we choose in the end given all that we face, and that is what slowly was realized in this book, allowing one of the final pieces of Eva and Gideon's future to be put in place. with so much left unanswered by the end of the first two books, such as the issue with the murder of Nathan, how that played into their relationship, Gideon's past that he confessed to Eva and her desire to keep digging around for the truth, Corrine still being around, Brett saying he refused to give up, Cary being hurt...so much happening in such a short time that three books to clear it up would have been shameful. Ms. Day makes sure she touches on the reality of development, growth, healing, acceptance and promise of all the characters who not only played a part in the first two books, but touched the lives of the two main character, while never forgetting that the lives of these two characters are not just dealing with their own troubles, but how the lives of those in their life affect their own. It was perfectly traveled....Kudos to MS.DAY! The book was BRILLIANTLY thought out, as it made sure to progress just like our own lives do...gone in the blink of an eye, slow moving when nothing is going right, the rug ripped out of you when things seem to be good, and the feeling of being sucker punched when you least expect it. It was a true journey that reflected how life is.... While we think we truly live life on our terms, it's really on life's terms that we live, adapt, accept, progress, choose and move on. And Ms. Day allowed us into the lives of Gideon and Eva so we could see just how these two moved forward as best as they could...and did so with a purpose...their own purpose...for each other....and to be together. ANOTHER ONE OF MY RARE FIVE STAR REVIEWS....in complete gratitude for respecting the characters, who they are, what they are and what they need and want...thank you for giving them the attention they truly deserved and for not rushing this through! Five books is more than right. this book developed the way real life does...slowly, haphazardly and without notice. It was two people trying to get back into the swing of things and find the best path back to each other while trying to embrace each others pasts, demons and hurdles and overcome them together. I like how they ventured to be more open, honest and real with each other...both proving to each other that they were in it to win it....she gave true attention and respect to all her characters...loved it. Thank you for standing by your work and your characters.

I want to start by talking about Gideon Cross. Who is he you ask? Well, he is your friendly neighborhood entrepreneur, fully equipped with caveman tendencies. He’s young, gorgeous and super successful. He is a run of the mill control freak, with an unlimited income that allows him to track your every movement. He is a genetically blessed, and well-dressed (don’t forget well-endowed), billionaire. Need I go on? Well yes, I do need to actually. He is sex on two muscular legs, has the perfect body, and a black belt in dirty talk. Gideon Cross is the undefeated champion of foreplay, world-renowned exploder of ovaries, national lady bit dampener, and the master dropper of panties. Sorry, I may need a moment. It’s the dirty talk. Gets me right in the uterus. It’s hot (see Exhibit A). Exhibit A: “Wishing I were with you. I’d love to spread you across the hood and **** you real slow. Push my cock deep inside you. Give those shocks a workout” A glass of water might be nice. Feeling a bit parched over here. Gideon Cross would be nauseatingly perfect if it weren’t for the amount of messeded up he is. Instead he is supremely hot, severely damaged, and the dirty talk is probably the best thing about him. Mmmmmm. Sorry. And Eva, well, she’s some annoying blonde chick. All right, Eva does have her good qualities. She sticks up for herself. All these people try to control her life, but she’s spicy and tells them off. She calls Gideon out on his crazy when he slips into his creepy stalker pants. She’s aggressive (sometimes), independent (most of the time), and does not suffer from dead fish syndrome (ever). Also she get’s to have filthy, kinky, crazy, hot, sexy sex with Gideon (see Exhibit B). Exhibit B: “He wrapped my throat with his hand, gripped my hip, and thrust so hard into me that my feet left the floor.” Of course, Gideon proves his awesome, because he appreciates Eva’s active libido. He doesn’t want her sole responsibility to be the counting of ceiling tiles (see Exhibit C). Exhibit C: “You’re greedy and insatiable, and I love it. I love knowing that once I get inside you, you’re going to suck me dry. Then you’ll want to do it again.” They’re basically perfect for each other. Eva is equally damaged, which is why their relationship works well and is so healthy. I’m lying, it’s really really not. They are obsessive, jealous, co-dependent, dramatic, insecure individuals. But let’s be honest, it’s what makes the series so goooood. Admittedly, they both grow a little in this book. Which may be the reason for all the boring. Most of the intense dramatic mess is missing. Eva and Gideon alternate between really sweet to severely dysfunctional. Which meant I alternated between bored and fascinated. There wasn’t that much going on in this book. I did learn a lot about the contents of Eva’s closet. Soooo many outfit changes. I felt like I was in Clueless. Many gyms were frequented, many cars were driven, many lunches and dinners were had during the course of this book. I can’t even say that the book focuses mainly on Eva and Gideon’s relationship, because there is so much secondary character drama thrown in. Everyone has relationship problems. EVERYONE. At first, I thought it would be a good idea if every single character found themselves therapists. The amount of poor decision-making made me want to start eating my hair. And then I realized that they all already have therapists. So I thought that maybe when I finished reading, I would go and get myself one instead. This book left me in knots. I loved it. I hated it. I didn’t know what to think about it. Ultimately, it was a good read. All the elements expected of the series were there, even if they were interrupted by chunks of mediocrity. It was well written. The sex scenes were phenomenal. Eva and Gideon were intense, dramatic, and adorable. I’m giving it 3 Stars. I do recommend Entwined with You, particularly if you’re a fan of the series. There is no insane cliffhanger. There are definitely some loose ends, but nothing too painful. I can wait patiently until the next book. Side note: The BDSM notation is just there for decoration. This series is about two people who suffered horrible past abuse, and are attempting to function in life and in a relationship. The books are dark, sure. But the BDSM is light. It’s there, but barely. It’s not much of a focus point in the book. I think some people would be beyond irritated if they go into this expecting a romance involving BDSM.

Before I finished reading Entwined, I was on Amazon & was completely shocked at how many bad reviews this book got. Even though I loved the book so far, being at the 1/2 way point, I got nervous to finish when I saw how many bad reviews there were. I absolutely love this series & I didn't want it to get ruined. But as I read the reviews, I was extremely disappointed how many people gave this book one star just because they were upset that Sylvia changed her mind & is extending the series. I completely understand & get frustrated myself when I love a book & have to wait to finish the series but that has NOTHING to do with the actual review of a book. The majority of the bad reviews were just complaining how this was suppose to be the last of the series or how expensive the book was. YOU ARE SUPPOSE TO REVIEW THE BOOK, NOT TRASH THE AUTHOR. Send those comments to Sylvia by email. I went on to finish Entwined & LOVED this book! Just to be clear, someone wrote on their review that this ends on a cliff hanger, it does NOT. There are issues & storylines that she set up to be finished in the following books but this ends at a great spot. This book does have a little different vibe but that's why I liked it so much. The 1st two books centered mainly on Eva & Gideon's intense relationship but in Entwined you get to find out a lot more about the other people that are close to this couple. I really enjoyed that. I've loved Cary from the beginning & after reading Entwined, I really love Mark & Steven. In this book, you still get the fabulous, intense,& sexual relationship between Eva & Gideon but you also get to see them on a more normal & day to day level. I think Sylvia did this book justice & I really hope people don't get swayed by all the bad reviews on here because if you are really a fan of Eva & Gideon, this book hit the spot that we've been waiting to read. If you put aside your feelings about waiting for their story to finish with 2 more books, I think anyone would love this book as well. Even though it's hard to wait for the next books, (which maybe Sylvia can release the electronic version right away instead of waiting for paperback to be ready at the same time which is why she said Entwined was pushed back so far) personally I think it's necessary for Eva & Gideon's story to take longer to conclude. Just think, these 2 have such a tough & emotional past that it wouldn't make sense that they got through it all & lived happily ever after in the same amount of time that normal couples we read about do. If Sylvia tried to conclude their story in this last book, it'd feel rushed, we wouldn't get to go through all of their issues they have to conquer. There are so many things yet that they need to find out & work through that if it ended with book 3, Sylvia would have to gloss over them & than we would be left at the end saying how did they go from having so many issues to everything being happily ever after so quickly? Yes, it's hard to wait but I'd rather wait & get to read so much more about Eva & Gideon & how these 2 are able to get through it all & find peace. So buy Entwined, it's hot, sexy, funny, & emotional. It's not a disappointment at all. I am excited to read the rest of their story & find out so much more about them & how they get through it all. Sylvia, this is one of my favorite series, Eva & Gideon are so different but amazing together. I can't tell you how much I enjoyed reading Entwined, it exceeded my expectations. I think you made the best decision extending the series. I would have hated to have the rest of their story crammed into this 3rd book. There is just too much we need to find out & go through yet. I'm so glad you are taking your time to go through it all instead of just all of the sudden turning everything around & having everything ok now. That's not what these people are about & why it's such a great story. I thoroughly enjoy going on this journey with Eva & Gideon & am excited to read how you continue to play out their past & future. Thank-you for sharing this amazing story!

I see why others have had an issue with his book. It Does seem like crap keeps falling on them like they can't catch a break. BUT! and this is big for me, I loved that actually. I loved books one and two. But in those books you had fighting and no trust and then you had separation. In this book it broke away from that theme. You get to read about how they are WORKING TOGETHER! yes there are more questions now, but isn't that was has been happening all along? *spoiler- yes the mob was a bit of a read* But still it added to the book I think. I liked hearing about Cary and his new issue, I like the friendship issues because I think it made it look as though Eva was not the only one going through issues. They only perfect Pair in the book was the gay boss. Sylvia Day wrote form the heart on this book. ON all of her books in fact. As a read what else can you ask for. I was scared this would be the last book. Since I could not find anything on that fact. At the end of this book Day says there is more to come in this series. I for am glad. Most books stop at 3 and I have to hunt down more. I am over the moon she is going on because that means her heart is still in it and she has more to say for them. I believe in her writing and so far she has given her readers what they want. We have the Drama, heart break, Love, and even in this tale the Happy ending. Reading others post I was scared s***less to read it because everybody made it sound like this was going to suck balls! I agree books 1&2 well less drama but still how good can a book be if you don't have the hook. If she simply wrote they got back together, they kissed made up, got married and rode off into the sunset and had babies: (people said in other reviews it has 50 shades of grey fee DUH! its why we liked it): but if she wrote it that was it would 50 shades of Grey. This is her own work and I loved it. I will keep buying this series because It was great and I hope she does not listen to all the reviews and hears those too of good praises because if she cut it off now on the cliff, for me that would suck. It was nice to see Cross in the raw form. We only scraped the surface in the last book. in this one we really see him open up. Eva is a bit slower to see the light but that's what I loved. Because through all of these books shes been the open one. Also too willing at times. The only one putting it out there and in this book we see different roles a bit. It only adds for me. I think others didn't like seeing her as more unwilling. I do agree on the ex factor with Eva. Her sexual appeal to him is dangerous. We don't want her having doubt but in the end of the book those who have read it we know she is a strong woman to the core ( for crying out loud she takes on cross everyday) and I think she will take care of the ex rocker. But what people are forgetting is that her attraction to the ex is real. In real life some people are happily married and would not cheat or give up on the one they want to marry. But they still have eyes and are attracted to others or ex's. Married woman reading this series right now are "in love" with Cross. I wont Bash anybody on their views because that's how they feel about the book. I also see some of their sides. But I will not say this is a worthless book. It still has merit. I will read the next one too. She may over all to others had a flop with this one but on the next one she could pick it back up. You just never know!

There is so much to experience in one book, so many emotions to be felt, and of course, so many plot twists to poke a stick at. Entwined with You picks up directly where Reflected in You leaves us. Eva has just learned the truth about what Gideon has done for her and she begins to understand the depth of his love for her. But there are so many issues ahead of them, the first being the investigation into Nathan's death. They can't just come back together, it would be too suspicious. So we travel along the journey of them, slowly coming back together in the public eye. And along the way we cross paths with some old foes and some new ones as well. Brett is still trying to win his way back into Eva's heart, Corrine can't and won't take no for an answer, there are detectives still sniffing about, throw in a snoopy reporter and a Russian mobster and you've got a recipe for success. "I look at you, angel, and I want you so badly. I want to be with you, listen to you, talk to you. I want to hear you laugh and hold you when you cry. I want to sit next to you, breathe the same air, share the same life. I want to wake up to you like this every day forever. I want you." I've always had mixed emotions about this series. I enjoyed the plot twists but I didnt quite feel the pull between the characters, didn't fully understand just how damaged they each were. I would just see Gideon shut down, and push Eva away, and she'd retaliate by running. That is a pet peeve of mine. Doing a runner instead of stopping and asking questions.. It's called communicating people, look it up. I don't like how by simply not asking questions, characters go along miserably for weeks, months, even years ( no word of a lie, I read a book in which the Hero/Heroine were seperated for 5 years because of a simple misunderstading). This time round, we've seen Gideon and Eva go through hell to get back to one another and it changes you. I finally understand the depth of love they feel for one another. They need each other like they need air to breathe, they feel incomplete without the other around, they can sense one another. Knowing that Gideon would to those length for Eva, that sealed the deal for me, it was my lightbulb moment. I can see clearly now. There were more moments of just Ace & Angel, spending time together, COMMUNICATING, enjoying each other immensely. They are adorable and funny together. I loved seeing the playful Gideon. "...he murmured. "Of course, you're my favorite ride." "Aw, that's sweet, baby. And you're my favorite joystick." Let's not forget about what Gideon and Eva always had going for them, sex. There's lots of it in this book, and its everywhere, and its hot. I also think there was much more emotion in each encounter, it didn't just feel like two sex crazed fiends (I can think of 2 particular scenes that really moved me, and one takes place on a plane). These were two people that NEEDED to be entwined, needed to connect with each other to be able to live each day. I was consistently moved by the depth of love they shared, I got a little misty eyed. "Gideon cupped my face in his hands and kissed me, our flavors mingling. "Thank you." "What are you thanking me for? You did all the work." "There's no work involved in f#$@ing you, angel." His slow smile was pure satiated male. "I'm grateful for the privilege." I sank back onto my heels. "You're killing me. You can't be that gorgeous and sexy and say stuff like that. It's overload. It fries my brain. Sends me into a meltdown." His smile widened and he kissed me again. "I know the feeling." The story finishes at a satisfying point, but it's also an excellent segue into the next story. Gideon and Eva still have a lot more obstacles ahead of them, but we've learnt that Ace & Angel can take on anything, as long as they are together.

Malgré un accueil pas forcément unanime de ce troisième tome de la série crossfire, je dois dire que pour ma part, je n'ai pas été déçue ! Après un second tome qui m'avait laissée complètement drainée émotionnellement, ça fait vraiment du bien de retrouver Gideon et Eva concentrés enfin sur leur relation, malgré le terrible secret qui les lie, une enquête pour meurtre qui les poursuit, des ex déterminés à les récupérer et une journaliste qui s'en mêle... Se tome se déroule sur quelques jours seulement, donc il est normal que peu de choses se passent durant ce dernier, quoi que... un nouveau meurtre, deux demandes en mariage, deux grossesses, des tromperies, d'autres secrets que l'on découvre au fil du livre...ça fait déjà pas mal de choses a gérer ! Et pourtant avec tout ça, Sylvia Day est parvenue comme toujours à truffer ce livre de scènes plus hot les unes que les autres... Personnellement j'ai adoré et j'en redemande ! Vivement ma suite !

Finally after a long painful wait, I had EWY on my pad yesterday. I am German and had ordered the German version, but I would not have survived the wait until July. The paperback would have arrived on June 13, so I just had to get the digital copy until then. Yes, hardcore Gideon fan, I know... As with part 1 and 2 before, I started reading and could not stop. The good solid background storyline has been taken further, and the story again makes sense in itself, and does not disappoint for one second. As the release date was only yesterday, I will not spoil peoples reads by giving away the story and the ending. I can only say that there are still a lot of romance, heartwrenching inner turmoil, misunderstandings, suspicions, dominance and submission issues etc going on. And that it is still an erotic novel, although that description does not do these 3 books justice. Part one was hot, part two was hotter but this part, Entwined, is SCORCHING. Beware: if you are a sensitive or sexually conservative reader, or think the language used in FSOG is too direct and harsh , then keep your hands off the CROSSFIRE novels, especially this book!!! After having read Chapters 1-3 , I thought it would be similarily sexy as the previous parts. Oh no. If you survive Chapter 15 or 18 without panting, shaking uncontrollably and grinning stupidly for hours, then you are probably already dead. These sex scenes left me literally drained. Do NOT read this in public. Every one around you will stare at you. I am already anticipating part 4, outing myself as an addict. What I can so far take from "Entwined" is that my severe crush on Gideon Cross has turned into totally wild full-hearted submissive love. Christian T. Grey has finally found his master.

These ebooks are extremelly adictive. I cant wait to read captivated by you. I think its an interesting story, and cant put it down until youve read it all, although i thought this was the final book when i finished it turns out its not! Worth reading.

Sylvia Day certainly knows how to get her readers sucked back into the lives of Eva and Gideon, they are, I must admit the most beautiful couple ever and I was so excited and very happy about half way through the book, Yayyy :D other book fans of Crossfire series will know what I mean by now hehe! The chapters flow so easily in this book, and before you know It you will have finished and will be wanting more I am sure. I really did enjoy this book so much, I was glad to be reading about Eva & Gideon again, the sex scenes in this book were out of this world once again, could turn any body on! I was so hooked in the book I had finished in hours! I neeed more already though! Do you know what the best thing is that. . .(drum roll please) There is going to be a Book 4 & 5, Yay! The Eva&Gideon story hasn't finished altogether after all! I do urge everyone to grab a copy & must read, Especially because you get more of Mr Dark & Dangerous Mr Gideon Cross, yes we can dream I know! Most Talked about book 2013 = HELL YEAH!!
