Good
It's hard to imagine going through a full day without a morning cup of coffee, and if you are a gourmet coffee drinker like me, you may need to take some time to opt a coffee maker which suits your daily use. After all, nobody wants to get up early and run out to buy a cup of fresh coffee each and every morning. As a busy working lady, I have to say it is very very very enjoyable to sit and sip my coffee while reading paper in my robe and slippers.I have used several brand of coffee press before and this one attracts me at my first glance. I know “Highwin” before because my colleague has an elegant stainless steel coffee press (this is the link: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B005FEF1DM) in this brand; it works great and everyone in our office loves it. That’s why I purchase this one without any hesitation. Thanks god, it comes in perfect condition. The outlook is elegant with the stylish frame. The borosilicate glass sits firmly in the frame as advertised. The plunger is fully stainless steel and no hidden plastic inside. I compare it with the fully stainless steel mentioned above and find that the plunger is almost the same. Safe to use.As most of the French coffee press works essentially the same, you just need to use this one in the same way you used other press. If you are not so sure how to use it, I may also share some tips with you.1. You need to prepare your coffee ground before you make coffee. You’d better use coarse coffee grounds because too fine will seep through the mesh when you press the coffee.2. Pour the ground coffee into the French press pot. Pour the water over the grounds as soon as it boils. Gently stir the contents of the pot to combine them.3. Place the lid on the pot, but don't push down the plunger yet. Watch the clock. Most brewers suggest letting the coffee brew for between 3 and 6 minutes. The longer it brews, the stronger the coffee.4. Push the plunger down slowly until it reaches the bottom of the pot. Pour the coffee immediately, keeping the plunger in place.5. Don’t pull the plunger and push again and again, it may result in fully month coffee grounds.6. Last but not least, coffee press cannot be used to make Espresso. I know some sellers advertise their French Press as Coffee and Espresso Maker, even SterlingPro and KONA said their coffee press could make Espresso. It is mis-advertising. Coffee Press CANNOT be used to make Espresso and don’t waste your time and money if you a Espresso lover.Ok, that’s all I would like to share. Will update my review in further daily use. Anyway, once you have a new coffee maker, you will be able to spend less time waiting in lines at the coffee shop. Perhaps you can use that time to relax and enjoy the morning like me. Sometimes I even take one more mugs on my way to office since this one is 34-ounce.

It's Straight.
I recently got into drinking coffee. My parents bought me an extremely nice 3 cup press and I was blown away by it. However now I'm drinking coffee more habitually and it's not doing it for me. I saw this and it was what I could afford. The package came in today along with my whole bean coffee. The product packaging was nothing special but who really cares about that. The best thing is that it's bubble wrapped to high heavens and it came with a scoop (something I didn't own). The product it self is straight like the title says. The base that supports and holds the glass is made of plastic, and the lid is also made of plastic. It has two what I would consider very fine screen filters, where as my other one has one and leaves some of the powdered grounds in the cup. The double filter is very nice it leaves you with virtually no suspended powder in your coffee. That being said I feel like the coil that seals and presses the screens to the outside of the press could be a lot better, as it shifts some but gets the job done. The top cap has a pouring section with a perforated metal piece. The side that pours goes further down than the the side without the screen making it where heat can easily get out. I'm not sure if that makes a difference but I guess it's just not aesthetically pleasing to me. That's about it, it's affordable, it does it's job, and will arrive safe and sound.

Makes good coffee
You must add the hot water into pot after you've added the grinds. I heat up the water in microwave. The whole process has too many steps when you include washing the filter area and the pot and warming the water etc. It's an elegant piece tho. I love it like one of my own after having it for a while.

My only complaint is that it can be a bit tedious to clean after every use
Seems to be decent quality product and works well. My only complaint is that it can be a bit tedious to clean after every use, having to take apart the screen/plunger. Also, I use this for a single cup use at a time and while it works, the plunger doesn't go far enough to the bottom so you have to just tilt the press and let the coffee slowly drain out. I do not feel this is any defect of the product, however, and I probably should have purchased a smaller press.

Love the way it looks
Love this press! It’s my first time using one and it’s not quite 8 cups when I make cold brew when the grounds are in (8 cups of liquid is not produced)

Great little French press
This is a great little French press. Aesthetically pleasing, easy to clean, makes enough for two large cups of coffee..... I couldn’t ask for more! This was a win for me. :-)

Sealed!
Nicely constructed but Ive never had a coffee press that you cant wash the glass separately. That's the problem here. Its sealed in the chrome and coffee and grime settles between surfaces. I tried emailing co but they didn't respond.

This product came with instructions on the box that were clear and easy to follow
I am a beginner at French Press. This product came with instructions on the box that were clear and easy to follow. Even though the price is economical, the build quality is good. It also came with an extra filter and a contact to get more. The seller packaged it nicely and included lots of information. Very good experience. I highly recommend this product and this seller.
