Excels At Its Intended Purpose
I am a knife and sword affectionado, with over 30+ pieces in my Collection over decades of this hobby. This is the first knife design of this nature and I see great potential in it for self-defense, by itself or paired with another dagger or short sword. It’s certainly worthy being a part of my larger collection due to its quality and ease of use.I am ordering a second one in hope to learn to use them together and perform some tricks, great way to keep my hands occupied. The size is perfect for what it’s meant to be, making it strong, yet light, without slowing you down in any way. Also makes it fit most pockets, especially of military-style cargo pants.Handle is comfortable, which I had doubts about looking at the pics, but it really is ergonomic. G10 feels solid and is well bolted on, and can be removed, if needed. There are few martial arts that utilize this type of design and I suggest to look into them for basic principles and modes of application. It’s comfortable to hold either way, came with a decent edge, well-balanced, has a nice and thick tang. The ring is just thick enough, though could have been a bit thicker, though I can’t tell if that would mess up the balance.D2 is not a super steel, but a good and reliable one. Certainly more than plenty for this type of knife and for most cutting implements. Sharpening may be a bit challenging (due to the shape of the blade) but doable, if you are into knives, I am sure you have a suitable kit for the business. The price is also reasonable, especially with the holiday sale.Scabbard is especially a nice touch. I got rid of the plastic part and instead plan to use some quality parachord to help wear it with a belt or without, up or upside down. The plastic bit made to wear it with the belt is the only somewhat flimsy part about the whole package. At least it didn’t appear quite great, so I took it off immediately. Though I may be wrong and it could be up to the task just fine, just something I haven’t tested or plan to.This would have been a good neck knife, alas I already have a slender CRKT tanto with an aftermarket scabbard for this role.Scabbard locks in the knife well, making it possible to wear it upside down. At the same time it doesn’t take too much effort to disengage and it’s not too noisy. For a “no name” brand, this is a great knife, especially if they haven’t lied about the steel. Also the serrations are quite nice if you need to cut a rope. They are sharp and the openings are quite wide, so they are certainly not just for the looks.Sometimes you have to make yourself happy, because who else would think that something like this would be a very fun knife to have?..

Amazing quality knife at a reasonable price point
Very impressed with the quality of the knife for the price. Exactly what I wanted for work. The Teklock works perfect on my duty belt and holds snug. Would give 5 stars, but as you see in other reviews there are some very sharp corners on the resin handle pieces. Nothing that 5 minutes with some medium grain sand paper can’t fix. Overall, extremely happy with this product and will definitely be exploring more of the product line

Great knife
This is great knife. It's comfortable and has a good overall shape. This is a combat knife so I didn't do any testing on hard objects. If you're using it correctly it does skitter off bone the way a karambit should. I suggest filing down the back serrations near the handle. That was a stupid design choice, but all in all I like it. This one will be a good replacement for the one I had to leave in the desert.

Well, I blooded my blade...
So I received my karambit. It's sharpened along the bottom edge and top edge (with the back half of the top edge being nicely serrated.)I wasn't ready for HOW sharp it was. My dumb self didn't pay attention when resheathing it and I stabbrd my finger. I thought I'd just stuck myself with the tip, but I started bleeding like a stuck pig. (That's what she said.. Beat you to it.) After I slowed the bleeding, I saw a 1/4" slit in my finger. I guess that's the mark of a sharp blade. You don't feel the actual blade slide in. Really, it's razor sharp. If you (carefully) run your finger along the edges, they feel like the edges of an old-school double-edged razor. The blade has a decently thick spine and is full tang. The fjnger-grooved handle is nicely rounded for a.good feel in the hand. I bought the black blade, which can be easily hidden against the body or behind the hand. The karambit has a well-made kydex holster and the blade snaps in and is held in place much the same as a handgun in a kydex holster. Also, you can rotate the sheath on the belt clasp. I've got mine at a 45° angle (which hides most of the knife against my belt but doesn't drop the finger loop too far.) My 1 1/2" belt fits great after I removed one of the belt stops from the belt clasp. One last thing: This isn't a survival or camping knife. (Who uses a karambit as a woodland survival knife?) This is a self-defense weapon. This blade is intended (for somebody properly trained) to slice and dice an attacker, slashing him at multiple vital locations. This is my 1st 5/5 for anything I've bought on Amazon, eBay or a brick and mortar.

Knife
Sheathe is very tight and you have to be careful taking it out, otherwise it fits very good in the hand and looks really nice.

So good Bought 2
Visiting my younger brother who had this blade, and the grip and terror claw bend of the blade plus weight just felt right. I have other Karambits for EDC but this grip just fits my xl hands perfectly especially with gloves on. Well yeah I got 2 of them lol …. The Blade comes extremely sharp and the sheaths worked great as long as your using the proper draw on the knife ……. Remember these are karambits the usage of these are not in line with standard knifes so draw angle is different. I did some light sharpening on the spine blade section, this way back hand slashes would be more effective. For the price and quality of the blade and rosewood grip, these 2 horned devils will be my dual go too EDC from now on.
