SmallRig always delivers a quality product at good prices. Be aware the description and the photos show two cold shoes, but the package I received only had one. Amazon address this by sending the second cold shoe.

Works great to add another cold shoe on top of my Canon C100 Mark ii too handle. Low profile to stay out of the way. Just wish it came with an antitwist pin. But it does seem pretty sturdy when tightened down, even without one.I have since bought an alternate shoe mount from Smallrig that includes safety pin so even if whatever is screwed into the shoe loosens, it won't fall out of the shoe adapter. VERY handy feature and I would probably buy that piece instead of buying this one, but this piece is a good value for money.

This cold shoe mount (yellow arrow in photo) was a perfect addition to my Blackmagic Design Cinema 6K camera. This shoe allowed me to add an articulating arm for a monitor so the person doing focus could see the scene from her position at the side of the camera.The product photo is a bit misleading, as it might appear that 2 shoe mounts are included, but there is only one mount included. I'd recommend the seller edit the photo to show only one mount.

I purchased a product from B&H similar to this first and it was way too tight and wouldn't fit any hotshoe device I had.My goal was to attach this adapter to my L bracket on my SLR to mount a hot shoe based remote control unit. I had the remote unit initially up top piggy backed to a flash control unit but the new flash controller I have doesn't allow for piggy backing. Thus began my search to figure out what to do.This adapter is nice because it does come with more mounting screws than the comparable product from B&H. The only disappointment might be that the competing product did include a stop screw. It wasn't important for me but might be to some people. It does fit all the hot shoe products I have including an older 430ex and a newer Flashpoint speedlight.Good price too!
