There's nothing too technical about this, but it does exactly what I wanted it for. No complaints.

Perfect for what I wanted. I was tired of dusting around big fancy lamps and wanted something to give my bedside table some space. Perfect for what I need. I use one that hands from a shelf also on a dressing area and it has the same perks. Saves space and is easy to use. I will be purchasing a longer length for our outhouse. It has a nice cable and isn't the usual plastic wire it has some sort of external coating. The possibilities are endless with this product.

We purchased two of these to make pendent bedside lamps. On arrival the plastic casing was cracked on one of them, it was virtually invisible so we thought we'd try and use it anyway, but when we tried to screw in the bulb it just fell into two pieces. The other one was absolutely fine and overall they were exactly what we were looking for, and the best price we've found.I saw a review on here saying there is no earthing wire in the plug, so I opened up the casing to check and there isn't. But on further research not all electricals require an earthing wire if they are double insulated, and the spec here specifically says it is double insulated, so I think this is fine?Note, they aren't designed to accommodate a lampshade, we had to do a bit of DIY to the shade we planned to use to make it work.We contacted the seller to return the broken one and they were very helpful. They responded within 24 hours offering a refund. I will be ordering a replacement and will update this review if there are any issues from long-term use.Overall happy.

Really great product I love that it’s not a plastic cable. More like a rope one. It also arrived when they said it would.

Love this! So easy to install, just plug in, it looks great and they are super stylish. Simply bought a nice big bulb from b&q. Would highly recommend!

The first time I bought one, it stopped working after about 6 months. I thought maybe I'd done something to it, or it was a series of faulty bulbs! Eventually I bought another one in June. I broke my wrists, so didn't use it until late July/early September. Bulb started flickering about 3 weeks ago, then it gave out altogether - despite changing bulbs and testing them elsewhere first. This is a useless product.
