In order to get this amp working at 1 ohm, do my (2) p3d4-10 subs have to be 2 ohm or 4 ohm?

It all depends on how they are wired. You can wire (2) 4ohm speakers in parallel to drop it to 2 ohms. Them take the positive and negative and connect them “bridged” to the amplifier and you’ll be at 1 ohm. Take (2) 2 ohm subs and wire them the same way and you’ll be at 1/2 ohm and likely blow the amp. I didn’t check the amp but you better verify that it it 1 ohm stable so you don’t blow it at 1 ohm if you plan on waiting it that way.

I have two of these amps. One works just fine the other seems like it isn’t connecting rca. The blue light comes on but no sound

Ok, disconnect the working amp and connect the non working amp to the working amps wiring. Does the non working amp now work? This will tell you if it's the amp or the wiring. Next check all volumes, left rights, front- rear

I would say yes. Amp has plenty of power. I have it on two mofo 15's.

Will this amp work for 2 R2SD2-12s?

No, it will send to much power to the subs since they are only 250 watt rms
