I have a fat head. When i used to buy fitted caps, I would get an 8-7/8 and spend a month making my head stretch it to fit. I came across a Vineyard Vines hat somewhere and the thing was huge. A dad cap like this with no structure, it fit my fat filled head with ease. Well, I sweated that cap into a salt crystalized brown mess and needed a new one. So naturally I went to VV and ordered me up another. It came, and on the largest size I could not get my head in. I was devastated. Then I went shopping and found this hat. Not only was it $30 cheaper than the VV version, but it fit just like that one did. Now its my favorite as it hugs my mellow just right and I do not have to look ridiculous with the back adjustment made to the largest available opening.

PROs: Good material, seems well made. CONs_ Expensive. 2X size runs large vs. other hats.I wear a 2X in most other hats, but in this cap, that size is too large. It rides down on my ears, and there is too much material in the crown. So I would say that if you find a normal 2X snug or that it doesn't give you enough depth in the crown, this might fit you very well. (There was a lot of room left in the adjusting band). But if a normal 2X fits OK, I'd say save your money and stick with a normal adjustable ball cap set on one of the wider adjustments.

The cap does fit my husband's extra large head. It sits low on his forehead without much height above making him appear as if he has chipmunk cheeks. The material is like a heavy but soft canvas. The color is labeled khaki but it isn't khaki. It's darker, more of a faded olive green. Maybe that color appeals to you?

This hat may not be the cutest but it doesn't squeeze my head and is so comfortable.

If you have a head that is so large that ONE SIZE FITS ALL, or XL doesn't fit, EURIKA you have found the perfect baseball cap. I'm size 8 1/2 or XXL and these are roomy, easily adjustable and cool all cotton. Perfect shade of blue. I'm order g one in every cor. I paid 3 times this price for a logoed cap, and I hate wearing logos. A little shallow on top, but doesn't look it when wearing it.So happy to find these!!!!

On a whim I searched "hats for big headed women". I LOVE to wear hats, and ALWAYS have to buy mens, but ball caps do not accommodate my big head AND hair! This hat is BIG! It makes me feel like my head is normal to small. It handles ALL of my hair, with room to spare. It does not flatten against my forehead, has plenty of room to adjust to heads MUCH larger than mine.

I was looking for something close to a 7 5/8 hat size. This 2xl cap is a little too big. and the profile just a tad high for me, I like a low profile cap. However, if you're a 2xl head, it's a decent looking cap and appears to be well made.PS: Where are the "XL" caps? it seems like all men's caps are either small-medium, medium-large, or huge.

As advertised, the hat is nice and big for my bucket! The only drawback is the size adjustment on the back is not the most user friendly. (This coming from a velcro guy)
