I liked how the book had clear and understandable instructions, This is an excellent book and I would recommend it to everyone

Liron is taking you step by step, teaching you the basics and motivating you to keep practicing: it feels like he really knows your weaknesses as a beginner and suggests good ways to get over them.In addition, I think that Liron definitely achieved the goal he declared about in the introduction: to write a simple but comprehensive and conclusive "anyone can do it" guide: the book is amazingly clear. The amount of text is just right, and followed by many well-explained examples.Liron teaches you the principles in a smart and well planned way: firts he teaches you the basics, then gives you a few whole-painting enjoyable exercises. As a beginner I can tell: IT WORKS.Liron is an extremely talented artist, and in this book he lets you feel that he started just like that, step by step. So just follow him in this AWSOME book, and see that practice makes perfect, and yes - anyone can do it, and so do you!

I’ve read the first 100 pages (I wanted to get through reading the book first so I have an idea of the material) and everything is very detailed. It shows you different techniques, thoughts and ideas and it makes you 100x more comfortable when he explains that the drawings don’t even have to be nice to begin with. He even shows a quick 10 second sketch he does if a bear and explains how as long as you practice viewing the basic shapes and sizes of things in the world you’ll slowly become better. Very very good confidence gainer with this one . Really recommend regardless of how beginner or advanced you are

I would say it's a bit confusing for beginners. Not as expected.

Yanconsky's books and yt channel together have futher fortified my skills. Our family as a whole is so thankful! Happy homes have artists in them :)

As someone who has always believed myself incapable of drawing, I will say this book has reversed my opinion on that. It explains complex concepts at a very digestible level and in a very logical manner. I think this could teach anyone the fundamentals of sketching. It provides the insight one would need to get out as much time as they're willing to put in, but also is something that one could spend just a little bit of time doing and see significant results. I'd recommend this to a friend who said they were interested in learning to sketch.The other thing I'll say about the actual content is that it's interesting. It dispels a lot of preconceptions I had. The material is not something I would consider dry.
