I have a lot of houseplants, and I know that healthy soil, means happy plants, so I've begun using this product to enhance the soil biome in my potted plants. This is important - I think - because I don't always have the time or energy to repot my plants. So, maintaining soil health is important. I also use quality organic fertilizer and a product which neutralizes tap water chloramines, so I can't be completely sure, on balance, what's doing what to keep my plants healthy and happy, but the combination works really well. There's a lot of product in the bag, and will easily nourish a lot of soil. I have above 50 plants and have already gone through a couple of cycles with Big Foot with plenty remaining. Because it contains organic ingredients including macrobiotics and those are living organisms, I'll assume that this product doesn't have an indefinite shelf life, however, and whatever I don't use within a year, I'll likely use somewhere else, maybe outside on the trees and shrubs. Overall, seems to me to be a brilliant addition to my plant care regimen, because as I like to say, if they're happy - I'm happy.

I used Big Foot Mycorrhizae for my potted plants and garden plants, and I really like it so far. It’s easy to apply when repotting or refreshing soil, and I feel like it helps support stronger roots and healthier growth. I like using it especially for plants that need a little extra help adjusting after being moved or repotted. A great product to keep on hand for plant care.

Picked this up because it’s one of the few mycorrhizae products I found that can be added directly into your watering routine instead of only mixing it into soil during repots. Super easy to use and a little goes a long way.Could absolutely be placebo plant-parent delusion, but I genuinely feel like I’ve noticed less transplant shock and healthier root systems since adding it into the routine. A couple plants that usually throw a dramatic tantrum after repotting barely skipped a beat. I also feel like it’s helped keep any sketchy root rot issues from snowballing, especially in denser mixes.At minimum my plants seem happier. At maximum I may now believe in beneficial fungi propaganda.

Using mycorrhizae has been very beneficial for establishing healthy succulent starts. This formula can be watered in after the plant is already in the pot and contains good organic nutrients — HOWEVER I was dismayed to discover it creates a dark gray solution that leaves a dark residue on my watering can and plant saucers. I used a clear milk jug here to show how dark it is. That would be because of the biochar I guess. I deducted 1 star from my rating for that surprise.

Incredible product! When I planted my current run of 9 plants, I decided to give Bigfoot mycorrhizae a shot. I've used a couple other brands before. I used once a week, in a gallon of water. At week 3 I COULDN'T BELIEVE how the roots were! I grow in coco. The roots took up the entire buckets, plus roots out the bottom! This product from Big Foot is AMAZING!!!! My plants are thriving and loving it! Sorry but I have to call out a couple of negative reviews about this product… 1. To the woman who’s hand get dirty when she reaches into the bag to get the scoop… two words WEAR GLOVES!! Dealing with plants is far from a day at the spa, maybe you shouldn’t own plants.2. To the spider person… that is TOTAL AND COMPLETE BS and you know I’m right. If a never before seen spider sprung from the bag .. 1. You would have taken a pic of that was true 2. If there was a spider on the bag you must have left it open and it crawled into the bag from YOUR HOUSE!Y’all are funny… the product is great! Don’t try to damage a company’s rep that is actually producing a great product!

Such a good product love the brand. I noticed a month after 2 waterings I got more growth!

Seems to be helping my plants... they were pretty lackluster before and now they seem to have more growth. Compared to other fertilizers ive use this one seems pretty gentle and doesn't harm my plant. Other ones have caused my plants to turn yellow

Definitely noticed a difference! Being able to “water it in” is such a nice feature, holy moly.It seems to be good quality - I’d definitely purchase this again. I’ve used many other brands before and this stuff is one of the best, while being REASONABLY priced!!
