Audio -Technica record player
I loved the record player I purchased. I would recommend highly for people who are getting a record player the first time or those who want to buy a good quality but not expensive player. This player sound very good once you set up properly. It was easy to set up. But the graphic diagram instructions may be a little harder to figure out for some people who are not tech savvy like me. However, the Audio Technica support group was very helpful and responded to my questions in a timely manner. Now my system has been set up and I have started enjoying my records. Highly recommend this product!

No regrets
I was on the hunt for a vintage stereo system at a decent price, but I had to have that retro vibe and sound with separate external speakers. Based on a recommendation from a local record store employee, this was in her top 3 options. I wanted the external speaker option to get that sound I’ve been chasing and it delivered. The item was delivered on time, and the packaging was perfect. Everything arrived in tact and it performs as I hoped. It took me a minute to set it up properly, but I was anxious LOL. My old records sound amazing, and the speakers are what takes it over the top for me… it sounds so good. The speakers are also Bluetooth, so you can stream for your wireless devices. The turntable is solid, you can tell it’s a quality item vs. the big box retail garbage. The speakers are a little larger than a desktop speaker, but small enough they fit on the table. I don’t regret the purchase.

Well-made, and well-worth the price.
I replaced a 1990s semi-automatic belt-drive turntable with an AT cartridge that had seen its better days. The LP120 is a heavy, stable, well-made turntable; rock-solid speed. It has an excellent cartridge for quality sound. My only disappointment is that the lift for the tone arm doesn't go straight up and down. When letting the tone arm down at the start of an album, it shifts towards the center about 1/16". And if I lift it while playing a record (to pause for a phone-call or whatever) it shifts back towards the outside edge. The closer the needle is towards the center, the more it shifts to the outside edge of the record, instead of returning to the exact spot I lifted it. At the end of a record when I lift the tonearm, it swings a full inch toward the outside edge. Yes, I matched the anti-skate to the needle pressure. It's curious, but it's a minor point. There's also a separate power on, from the push-button that actually spins the record. I imagine there's a reason for that; I just don't know what it is. It would have been nice to have an auto-shutoff (not auto-return) when a record is done, for when I nod off... Even so, well worth the price considering the built-in pre-amp, cartridge, USB, and direct drive motor. Most importantly, I'm delighted with the sound and the quality!

STUNNING Quality from Audio Technica
STUNNING Quality from Audi Technica with the AT-LP120XUSB-BK Direct-Drive Turntable..The moment I felt the weight of the body..I knew this would be an exceptional listening experience & I wasnt disappointed. On the optics..this turntable is beautiful and it is equally matched by the stunning audio quality.. Prior to this new TT II had a basic entry level Audio technica t/table and it was excellent..However this deck is just a huge step up in class...Ive played a variety of genres and different ages of vinyl from the 1960's to 2026..and they equally sound great..I had one LP that has deep scratches and would skip on the old t/table with this new one It rides over them and plays 95% true to the end..The set up was easy as 1,2,3..There was some trepidation about purchasing this after reading many thumbs down reviews which we cannot fathom..Super thrilled with this t/table it just strengthens my deep love of music played by the miracle of the vinyl record..which deserves the best of reproduction

Great fidelity!
After 27 months I’m actually pretty happy with the LP 120XUSB. A great sounding deck. The tone arm can easily handle multiple head-shell combinations, MC and MM. I have used the factory installed-AT VM 95E, AT VM 95EN, AT VM 540ML, Sumiko Pearl, and currently the MC, Denon DL 110. All have sounded and worked great; the Denon DL 110 and AT VM 540ML take it to another level. Just make sure you completely reset the tracking force and anti skate for each cartridge, and also use a protractor for the proper alignment of the cartridge. The anti-skate seems slightly off, so I use a blank disc to get it balanced; generally, if the tracking force is 1.8, then the matching anti-skate is just under the number 1 on my deck. Another way to check is when the needle hits the record runout after the last song, it should gradually work its way over to the record label, not rapidly. I don’t agree with the manufacturer saying match the tracking number with the same anti-skate number, example 2 and 2, it’s not accurate. I also use a digital tracking scale for absolute accuracy, and it’s very close to the tone arm counter weight number. I have used four different outboard phono preamps, and the included built in one. The Art DJ II, Emotiva XPS Gen 2, Pro-Ject Phono Box DC, and currently the Pro-Ject Phono Box S2, which has a very precise sounding presentation. Using an iPhone Wow and Flutter app, and laying my phone dead center on top of a very small and lightweight record weight, placed over the spindle, the RPM is almost always perfect at 33.2 or 33.3. Wow and flutter fluctuates between .05-.07, which is better than the published stats. Just make sure the ground wire is securely fastened down, with a screwdriver. I get zero noise and feedback, just great sound, and of course the better the mastering of the record the better the sound quality. Clean your records frequently. I paid $300 for my deck in November 2022, and for the price it’s a fantastic deal. The weaknesses are pretty small relative to the price. The plinth has hollow spots upon tapping, it’s mostly plastic but seems fairly durable. However, it is weighted inside with steel inserts to keep the deck stable and insulated from noise. The tone arm clip is a little flimsy, be carful. The platter is not rubberized or dampened underneath, but at $300, this is totally acceptable. That’s it, some have called the table chintzy, but for anything under $500 I disagree. Honestly, the deck is extremely quiet, and with my ear right over the platter and power on, I hear absolutely nothing.

Good turntable
Good turntable for the price point. I purchased this as I wanted a good lower/mid level player that wouldn’t break the bank. I had a hiccup or two during setup but worked my way through and it is easy and straightforward to use. Buy with confidence with this as it is easy to use, visually nice and produces nice warm sound.

Loving my New AT-LP120XUSB-BK
I just received my new AT-LP120XUSB-BK turntable, after realize a purchase I made of an Eonsix crappy bare bones device which was literally a piece of junk, in spit of the initial thought I bought it just to easily transfer some lp's to a memory stick was all I needed, but the renewed audiophile in me, along with just some basisc standard requirements, like actually having the product I purchase, work as expected (which the Eonsix DID NOT, but this AT-LP120XUSB-BK MOST CERTAINLY DOES! !, made eating the cost of that other piece of junk a little more palatable for me. First off, to say this turntable is a good entry level TT for beginners I would have to say, eh? maybe a beginner who has an idea of what setting up turntable up and knows how to balance a tone arm, set anti-skating & such up, if your not really familiar with those tasks, or afraid you may send your needle crashing to the platter & screwing up the stylus, then you may want to steer clear of this item. For those who absolutely know the difference (and can hear it) between a decent TT, with better than average stylus, this is for you! The item came packaged new, and well. Took me all of about 10 minutes to unbox & set it up, & start playing some vintage 45's and albums from my collection. Symbolically - the first 45 I chose to place on my new TT was Eric Clapton's "Hello Old Friend", because it's truly nice to hear vinyl again! The build of this turntable, everything from how it's packaged and the accessories provided, wreaks of quality & thoughtful'ness for the end user to enjoy a quality listening experience. Years ago, I owned a Techniques SL-1200 Mark 2 TT which was the pride of my listening experience, coupled with a stanton 500EEE cartridge (considered to be pretty decent/broadcase standards at the time), so when I realized that piece of junk Eonsix TT wasn't going to cut it for me from a feature or performance standard, I realized I'd have to up the budget & go for something that was familiar to me from a standards & performance spec, and with a heritage name that I felt I could trust, & that's what lead me to purchase the AT-LP120XUSB. What I have learned in life and hold true for this purchase, you get what you pay for! This unit will put a small dent in your wallet, but you're getting a fine piece of machinery with a solid build, a very decent, reasonable stylus that sports some decent spec's, the added bonus of being able to play records (if you needed to) at 78-rpm, which (to be honest, I'd have gladly forgone if they provided a better (read as higher quality) 45-rpm adapter, the -ONLY- downfall of this AT-LP120XUSB-BK I can find, is the plastic 45-rpm spindle that came packaged with the unit, I mean really, which when you consider all the other features packed into this unit, is almost insulting, because everything else just wreaks of quality, so I'm sure if Audio Technica ordered a couple hundred thousand quality metal 45-rpm adapters, the price they could have received to ensure every accessory that came packaged with this device would be 100% up to spec, would have had more of an impact than say, including the ability to play 78 rpm records, because seriously, in this, the 21st century, & for the demo this turntable is targeted to, who's really going to utilize that feature. In an earlier iteration of this device, my understanding from researching the turntable, they have a reverse play feature. Really?.. like, were they expecting devil worshiping anthrax or beatle fans to be desiring to play their platters backwards and risk screwing up their needles ? or was it an ingenious marketing ploy to get people to order new styli when the ones that came with the device broke from playing their albums backwards? Well anyway, the reproduction of sound from the AT-LP120XUSB-BK is AMAZING!, I'm utilizing a new set of PreSonus monitor speakers, the Eris E3. 5 and they sound GREAT with this turntable, I utilize the turntables line out setting which drives the signal for the speakers wonderfully, & the audio quality is really warm, rich & wonderful. I would highly recommend this turntable (and even those speakers for that matter) if you're looking to dive head first into the ankle deep waters of enjoying vintage vinyl, -OR- (like me) desired to revisit your vinyl collection and utilize a worthy turntable which will spotlight the sonic excellent of your audio collection, and do justice to it. If the AT-LP120XUSB turntable lasts as long as my old SL-1200 Mark 2 did (which easily had to be 20 years, and being heavily used at that, I think I replaced the stylus on that TT about three or four times, and only 1 cartridge change out when you couldn't but just the 500EEE styli separately any longer, I'm hoping at my age now - this will be the last turntable I'll wind up buying, which will bring me at least as many (and hopefully more!) years of enjoyable audible pleasure.

It’s Amazing!
This thing genuinely is one of the best purchases I’ve made in my entire life. Quick and easy setup, pretty solid stylus, easy of a built in pre amp, and so much more. I like to slow down some of my slow records just a bit to give it that extra groove sometimes and the built-in tempo adjuster allows for just that. I can’t stress enough how awesome it is to have this record player!!

How to get the sound working
Haven't got it working properly yet. Can't get the sound to work. But the set up was fairly straigtforward. Should have it all working soon.

Ridiculously Good Value For Money
What can I say? This is a rather well done clone of the legendary Technics SL-1200 deck, which needs no introduction. I had it out of the packaging and spinning records in 15 minutes flat. The cartridge comes preinstalled on the headshell and is aligned perfectly. VTF and antiskate adjustment were a breeze and intuitive. The quartz-lock speed control is rock-steady and the wow and flutter is even better than advertised in the specs. There is zero hum when used with the phono input on my Harman Kardon HK 725 preamp (yes, the one from Bateman's American Psycho stack.) The supplied cartridge with elliptical stylus is quite good and sounds wonderful through my Infinity RS III/B speakers. I wanted to get a Technics SL-1200 Mk7, but my budget doesn't currently allow for that, even with financing. In the meantime, this Audio Technica clone is a steal for the price. The unit has some weight to it and, although mostly plastic, feels well engineered. It's easy to see why there's so much love for this unit and why it's a tried and true bestseller. Audio Technica really offers terrific value for money here. Get one!

All around awesome record player!
I recently purchased the vinyl record player for my girlfriend and she has been extremely happy with it. The high-fidelity audio is a standout feature and the direct-drive, DC servo motor allows for a smooth and seamless listening experience. The ability to choose between 33, 45, and 78 RPM speeds is a convenient feature, as is the adjustable dynamic anti-skate control and variable pitch control with quartz speed lock. The fully manual operation and balanced S-shaped tonearm with hydraulically damped lift control and lockable rest make this record player a top-notch choice for vinyl enthusiasts. One of the added bonuses of this record player is the ability to convert vinyl records to digital audio files using the free Audacity recording software (or software of your choice). The inclusion of a USB cable, detachable RCA output cable, AC adapter, 45 RPM adapter, counterweight, felt mat, and removable hinged dust cover make it an all-in-one package that is ready to use right out of the box. Overall, I am extremely happy with this purchase and would highly recommend the vinyl record player to anyone looking to experience the high-fidelity audio of vinyl. It is a top-quality product that offers a seamless listening experience and added convenience with its digital conversion capabilities.

¡Impresionante calidad-precio!
