How well does this unit work for a range between 0v to 1v dc?

It divides by 5. if all you need is a reading of 0 to .2v than it would work.

Does this sensor work with a raspberry pi zero? i need to sense ac voltage (on/off). do you guys have anything maybe with an opto isolater

Sorry, for raspberry pi zero, you can not use this voltage sensor, you can use Voltage transformer module and ADS1115 module.

It is a Voltage divider of resistors that divides by 5. 25v in gives 5 v out for a input to a port that needs to measure voltage. I needed it for an Arduino, but you can also use it on a Raspberry Pi. It is only a voltage divider. You could make your own with 2 resistors, that's all that is on the sensor. I just didn't want to look around when a unit with the resistors readily available.
