KS1 English 10-Minute Weekly Workouts

This is a really easy way to cement the work done at school. The worksheets aren't very long and my child was happy to sit down for 10mins a day to complete them. It's also broken up by terms so you're consolidating learning and not teaching anything new.

It's very helpful and interesting books.

The exercises in the books help reinforce the learning. My son is in reception and as an advanced reader I found this book useful to practice and test his learning. Also as the exercises are short enough it holds his interest. While the exercises appear simple, they ensure the child has clarity and understands subtle differences very well. We end up doing more than one exercise sometimes. Also the scoring on the side is a great motivator as my son can see how well he is doing and wants to keep up the score on the future exercises.

This books is a paperback, in a single colour. The quality of paper used to make this book isnt the best or on par with that i paid. The questions at most are easy to understand for my 6 year old. With a few difficult ones if not supported by an adult. over good book as a supplement to learning at home.

Good value for money.

These are great exercises. With lockdown this book has been brilliant. The scoring helps to motivate.
