This product works wonderfully as described. I have purchased this for at least 5years with no problems until the last 2 deliveries. Capsules were fused together making them unusable. I ordered the second time just to make sure it wasn’t a mishap. Naturally medicine is nonrefundable so I’m just out about $30. I have removed the item from my Subscribe $Save.

Colace Stool Softener has been very helpful for occasional constipation. I like that it works gently without the harsh effects of stimulant laxatives. The capsules are easy to take, and it helps make bowel movements more comfortable. A reliable option to keep at home when you need gentle digestive support

Grabbed this Colace to help me postpartum and so glad I did. I had a c section and had a very difficult time doing anything physically including going to the bathroom. This colace was in my arsenal of postpartum support products and I’m so glad I own it. Works great, small pill, no taste, no smell, no side effects, worked for me within 30 min.

I tend to have "issues" occasionally, especially if I eat cheese (which I dearly love). If I ever eat anything I know will give me issues in the near future (lets say at lunch time) I take 1-pill at lunch, 1-pill that evening, and 1-pill that following morning and I have no issues. No stomach cramping, no violent outbursts from you-know-where. Just a nice, calm pleasant release. I do make sure to drink a full glass of water when I take a pill and drink another glass of water over the next two hours as this seems to make everything flow more smoothly. I do find that if I ever take 2-pills at once, I tend to release more gas than anything and I don't benefit as much. It may be because I'm not taking in enough water? (I'm not a big fan of drinking water). This has been a life-saver for me as I have had hemorrhoids in the past (2-surgeries) and near-constant anal fissures (yes, it's as pleasant as it sounds) and nothing has worked as well for me as Colace. This is very gentle and reliable for me. I have two bottles on hand at home in case there is ever a shortage; I rely on it that much. I usually only have to take the 1 pill at three consecutive meals once a week to keep everything in order.
