These Free Key "Press-To-Open" flat keyrings by Eric von Schoultz made of sand blasted stainless steel are nail savers ~ just press/pinch and the leverage helps open the end! Nice and easy to slip the keys on and off when needed.

User Friendly key rings.
Can't believe someone did not invent this sooner. These key rings are brilliant, no more torn finger nails and frustration trying to get keys on and off key rings. Have given these out to friends and family members as gifts and everyone loves them.

I like it (still using it
So far, I like it (still using it, so that means something, lol!). Beats standard key rings.

Works great. Wish it were a little smaller
Works great. Wish it were a little smaller. Every time I change a key it sounds like grinding teeth over a pillow sheet. Imagine that.... Ouch. Awesome product though.

Very pleased with this as it solved my nail damage problem ...
Very pleased with this as it solved my nail damage problem and works exactly as stated. I like to remove the bulky car keys from my house key ring when going out, travelling without car etc and with this units nifty action it makes dropping the car bundle a 2 second pain free function. As mentioned by others the three sub rings that are also supplied are much too small and I have simply not used them, as such I use this as my master link ring to connect my house bundle and big car key block/remote, both the house and car key sets being on mid sized traditional rings. The matt grey finish of the freekey looks a bit odd against the shiny traditional subgroup rings which I have had to use due to the small size of the supplied three, hence loss of one star otherwise this device is so clever it would be worthy of 5 stars. If you have a similar use case to me and can work within the limitation of the three small sub rings or are happy to use different sub rings then I highly recommend this product.

Threw it in the bin
Unfortunately this product wasn't the solution I was hoping for. Yes it is easy to open and attach keys without breaking nails etc, but the issue I have is with the quality and finish of the metal used. The edges of the ring are so sharp, I know if I accidentally (happens everyday) put my phone into the same pocket with my keys, I will end up with gauges/scratches in the phone's glass in a heartbeat. It is a shame, if the manufacturer had polished/filed the ends smooth, it would have been an excellent product. As it is, I am not going to risk scratches with anything I place my keys on and therefore threw the item straight into the bin.

Good idea, but the smaller rings aren't that useful
Great idea, but I wish the smaller rings that hang off the main one were slightly bigger, unfortunately the space on them is quite a bit less than other keyrings. You can put keys on the main ring, but the thickness because of the opening mechanism means that some of them can't slide freely. Also, the small rings don't have the press to open feature which kind of defeats the purpose as you still need to use your nail to open them.Overall good idea and solid construction, just a few niggles which stop it being perfect.

It Does The Job!
I wasn't really sure what to expect from this keyring because I didn't really know how it worked, and was unable to find out by reading the description. As I've said above, it does the job. It's not as quick release as the quick release keyring that I bought it to replace, which just allowed you to pull back a lever and detach whichever keys I needed but it does make it easier, so I guess that I'm happy with it :-)

Such a simple concept, brilliant.
How can something so simple not have been invented years ago? I have very weak nails and generally risk stabbing my hands trying to use other implements like screwdrivers to open up keyrings. Not with this, though I did have to remove my keys from the old key ring to use it. When my car goes in for a service, I can simply remove just that one key, and put it back on when it comes back. All you have to do is either squeeze it to open it wide enough or rest it on a worktop and press down. Nothing is going to come off by accident either.
