The old ones we used were stiffer but thinner plastic which in turn becomes brittle over time. There's only one downside to these: the height of the handle needs to be slightly more like our old ones (taller or thicker) to be more comfortable when being used. They aren't as comfortable to hold and grip as the ones we used to get from the feed store. These actually hold slightly more than the old ones which is just fine. Actual is 4.5 stars. Great value still, imo. It's sturdy enough. These were a good deal compared to replacing our old ones that seemed to wear down, cost 2x as much, and became brittle over time.

Like they say, sturdy. Lightweight. Strong. And the price I purchased at was just too good to pass up. Would highly recommend over the ones that cost almost twenty dollars. This company is doing us right.

Been looking for exactly this and this size to fit in our slim rectangular garbage can where we pour bags of fresh cat litter pellets to make it easy to get to, rather than fighting with bags. And the scoop helps us determine how much we're putting into the litter box.

Works fine for fairly loose stuff. Not for digging dirt. It is plastic after all.
