Awesome and Attractive
You won't regret buying this and studying the Bible! It's interesting. I found God's attributes through the story. Well done.

Big Impact
Sent this to a friend in jail. All 64 men in his pod are wanting to read it. Big impact for such little money!

Great!
Compelling easy way to see scripture; not a replacement for the Bible, but something to supplement. A good price point.

Book 1 of 12
Adapted from the Bible by Art Ayris and Ben AveryPencillers: Danny Bulandi, Jeff Slemons, Mike Lilly, Geof IsherwoodInkers: Danny Bulandi, Jeff Slemons, Jeff Huet, Joe RubensteinThis volume covers the Creation, Adam and Eve, Cain and Abel, Noah's Ark (including Noah's drunkenness afterwards), the Tower of Babel, and Job. I suppose Job is out of sequence in order to make these 12 volumes approximately the same size (Job takes up half the book!)The author seems to be a fundamentalist, as he throws in various things that aren't explicitly in the Bible: the Trinity is mentioned on page 1, the 7 days appear to be 7 literal days, Satan possessed the snake, the "bubble of water kept out UV rays, plus the patriarchs had better genes, so they lived longer" theory is included, and Behemoth looks like a dinosaur (implying that Job would know what a dinosaur was.) There's this story 5 pages long about Noah's sons getting stuff for the Ark.The book doesn't say which artist did which portion, but I've managed to find out Danny Bulandi did the Adam and Eve section, and Jeff Slemons did Job (which is the book's best art).If I did a better search through Amazon, I would have bought this instead The Kingstone Bible Vol. I ..although personally I prefer this The Picture Bible for the art (even though it's "old-fashioned") and the absence of slant.Art: 3.5 starsStory: How can you downvote the Bible? Well, I'll knock it down a star for the Creationist slant. 4 starsAverage : 3.75, rounded up to 4

Great artwork
The artwork is fantastic. It is great to have the references to follow with the story. I want the rest of the volumes.

Wonderful
An all rounded wonderful mash up of art and scripture!!!!It’s also amazing how extra chatter between the characters is made, thereby emphasizing the initial message 😁
