This part works as it should. The repair is long and tedious, but doable. I chose this part over others that probably would also work based on the metal tabs already being attached, and I would definitely make the same choice in the future. To me, it's worth an extra dollar or two to not have to heat stuff up and attach them.

Good product! It is just as it is described. The main thing to note is: Make sure you have the tools to do this. As an IT engineer I had them, I still had to Google the steps to change the cable out. This job is not for the faint of heart, the non-technical or somebody that is not comfortable completely stripping the phone down to all individual parts. Mine works great, but wow what a tedious repair job... Good luck!

Got this over the power flex strip without the brackets, its a big hassel to solder the old ones on, makes the repair a bolt on affair. total install took 30mins and is a bit intensive, as in removing the whole motherboard, but watch youtube and keep your screws organized, there are different sizes and such. I would say 7/10 difficulty, however I am tech savy and good with taking apart things, also make sure you have the right tools, i had a tool kit that came with a replacement battery. All buttons work well now. very happy

Great product, so far I have ordered two of these and both worked flawlessly. Both were installed in the phones with much ease. Very much recommended.

So I bought this product installed it and all of the things I wanted to fix were fixed; however, The vibration motor no longer works. I tested the motor(s) and they work, so yeah, Take the chance. its better than not having any buttons working I guess.

This item here is a blessing. For the few extra cents get the metal brackets attatched. Great product.

Followed a guide on youtube on how to repair my lock button on an iPhone 5 and it works perfectly after replacing the ribbon cable. Apple quoted me £199 to do the repair (outside of the 3 year warranty) for a phone that isnt worth that much. This saved me a lot of money. Thank you!

j'ai commandé ce produit suite à un défaut du bouton power ...mais maintenant c'est le volume bas qui ne fonctionne plus !

This works well apart for the metal holder for the power button. Had to remove it and reuse original one.
