It's rather difficult to review washer hoses on the first day when what really counts is how they perform in 5 years, in 10 years, in 15 years. My washer is on the second floor so for me a hose break would be catastrophic and an insurance claim. Even 5 year evaluations are not available to the general public so I had to evaluate this product based on what I see on the first day. What I see is that the company that markets and perhaps makes the hoses is presenting a product that looks very good along with instruction for installation and even a custom wrench to assist. They might be wizards of marketing or sellers of the best damn hoses or both! Bottom line: there's nothing in their product that would make me think it was inferior to any other hose on the market so I gave it the highest rating. But if you really want to know how good this product might be then ask me in 5 years....

It's pretty hard to get hoses over 8 feet long so these were great to be able to get and came at a reasonable price. If I had used these in a traditional manner, ie. supply to washer, I would have wished them to have 90 degree fittings since the bend at the washer seemed like it stressed the hoses and when they were not pressurized they kinked off the back of the washer. My second complaint is that I wish these had a plastic coating / jacket over the SS braid. The braid of the hose is quite rough and almost scratched my washer and dryer as I was installing the hoses. The dryer kit I purchased had both the 90 degree fitting for the dryer end and a plastic coating / jacket over the braid.In my setup I used them a bit differently and therefore the 90 degree fittings didn't matter as much but the coating / jacket would have been nice. I have my cold hose go from the supply to a 90 degree water hammer arrestor to the washer. The hot hose goes from the supply to the Y-fitting in the dryer hose kit. The Y-fitting then attaches the 6 -foot dryer hose to the dryer (it had a 90 degree fitting at the dryer) and the short 1 foot hose in the dryer kit to a 90 degree water hammer arrestor then to the washer. Works great this way and helps get water to both the washer and dryer while only running two extra long hoses.

An insurance guy recommended that I replace my existing washer hoses with burst-proof hoses. These stainless steel braided hoses satisfied the need.I decided to get 8 foot instead of 6 foot to have some slack. In hindsight, the 6 foot would have provided enough slack, since the hoses connect at the top of the washer, not the bottom.I chose this brand instead of other brands because they seemed to have fewer unresolved complaints than the other brands. I inspected the hoses upon arrival and they looked good.The wrench that came with the hoses was handy for attaching the new hoses. It didn't quite work as well on the old hoses, but I was able to get them loose enough to remove them.Incidentally, the old hoses were marked with "replace every 5 years." They were installed 13 years ago. The rubber washers and inside of the hoses were showing some signs of deterioration, so it was probably a good thing that I replaced them now.Incidentally, when I moved the washer to get access to disconnect the old hoses, I noticed a few long-lost socks and a pillowcase behind the washer, along with a lot of dust. I used a Dyson vacuum cleaner and a mop to clean it up before sliding the washer back into place.

I needed two hoses to use with my Liberty submersible pump when I annually descale my Navien on demand water heater. I opted for these 6' braided hoses for two reasons: 1. They will last for years as I use the white vinegar descale process to maintain my Navion water heater, and 2. If, for some reason the washing machine hoses leak, I'll have immediate availability of one or both hoses.I really like the quality braiding that includes interwoven red (for hot) and blue (for cold.) Whether you use them as I will or immediately install them for use, you'll be happy and confident in how they'll work for you.

Cheap protection against bursting rubber hoses that came with our wash machine. Replacing hoses is straightforward; the male connectors at both ends easily screwed onto the source faucets and the wash machine connections. The supplied wrench isn't much help; you're better off grabbing a pipe wrench to do the final tightening. I decided to err on the long side with 6 foot hoses; 4 or 5 feet would have been long enough. No leaks (so far). I had hoped that the new hoses would reduce the squealing noise that the wash machine makes when adding water to the tub; sadly those hopes were dashed.

Looked at several braided stainless hoses. Found these on amazon for a price slightly less expensive than the local Lowe’s and read up on the “hippo hose” brand as well. The overall quality is as expected for this type of hose. Came with rubber washers inside. Took off the old rubber hoses with the old washer, installed the new braided stainless with the new washer, and they worked great.

My stacked washer and dryer unit couldn’t go on the side where my water is, so I bought these and ran them to the other side from behind my washer unit and have had ZERO problems with leaking or giving me problems. I bought some zip ties with sticky mounts, and was able to zip them to the lower wall underneath the door frame. I bought them back in February, and this was the EASIEST purchase I made to solve my really huge problem.

Bought to replace the hoses on my 12 year old Kenmore washer. I had tried some hoses from the local Home Depot first and they leaked so decided to give these a try. The price was great, so why not. I like the connecting feature and they come with their own wrench. Not a single drop of water leaked like they other hoses I tried. Like the color coding for hot an cold. I definitely recommend. Got them fast with 2-day shipping.

Good price for such a long extension.It's excellent for my home situation!

Had to buy longer hoses to relocate washing machine. Hoses are good quality.
