Q: no tone test sound from my speakers during set up, help!

hello, dont bother using initial setup screen turn reciever volume up to about 24 plug in the calibration tool and follow the onscreen instructions then everything should be fine as long as the speakers are connected properly , after this has finished then you can go back into settings and alter the distance and db range on each channel , also note for every hdmi device you have plugged in there is an output db signal you can alter this is set on 0 by default you can increase this up to 12 for your own preference otherwise there will be poor output volume on device hope this helps:)
