NCAA Kentucky Wildcats Backscratcher

I bought this for a UK basket raffle. Basket raffle winner stated they love it! Benefit was huge success & I would bet the UK basket would be partly the reason for that and THIS item was in that basket!Thanks. ~Pamela

I bought this as a gift for my bf.. who is a "bleeds blue true BBN fan". I only chose this one out of all offered bc the Wildcats and the blue color and my boys were giving it to him from them. We were searching for a back scratcher for him originally and they were so excited to find one that represents something he wanted but with a team he taught them to love. I felt like it was a win win gift. He wanted one and now they could get a gift he truly wanted and in his team colors and his wildcats name. It was a great fan gift but broke after a few times using it. It's very thin and flimsy and sucked as a back scratcher. Broken even it still means a lot to him bc of who gave it to him. My boys being 6 and 8 year old who barely kept the secret because they were so excited to tell him about a gift they picked him. With out mommy's help at all lol we devastated over it breaking only days after they gave it to him. They blamed themselves and BBN for it being a flimsy and cheap and breaking. The way they see it was it arrived in one piece and broke after they gifted it so it was either them or the wildcats fault. It e has stepped up to the plate as a step parent/role model from the beginning. My 6 old reminds me often that if we break up he wants to live with my bf not me who is his mother lol. He takes them fishing, plays football and basketball with them, bought them a pellet gun just to help them learn gun safety at young ages, and looks forward to teaching them to hunt. He also taught them his love for the wildcats. They could not remember Louisville name but called them "dirty birds" because they also dislike Louisville bc of their love for BBN. It sucks that no matter what or who we blame they still see it as they gave him a cheap gift that broke so quickly. A gift they purchased with money earned from chores they did extra bc it meant alot to them to pay for it with their money. So they also think that all gifts they work hard to get someone will only be "cheap breakable stuff because they can only earn so much money at their young ages. To most adults it is a cheap gift, but to them it took 2 weeks to earn that money. So if u buy this remember it" sucked " as a back scratcher upon 1st use. It snapped in half after 5th or 6th use and my bf was worried that it would break after 1st use and was even more gentle than had to be. He wanted to just hang it on the wall after seeing how flimsy it was to begin with. The boys insisted he use it bc it was originally found because he wanted to scratch his own back better lol. He loves it just as much broken but it caused upsetting issues for the boys bc they feel they bought a cheap bad gift for a man they truly love and admire and now think all their gifts (with their money) will be crappy bc of how they can't earn alot being just lil boys. This being my 1st review I've probably went into to much detail as to why it sucked but it caused more issues and discouragement that my boys now have. When they do not see what an awesome and meaningful thing they did and how proud we are that they wanted to do it with their own earned money. All they see is a cheap broken gift they picked and gave to him. I'm so mad at this cheap gift bc it is cheaply made and to an adult is a cheap purchase. But I'm mad at the fact that my children were so deeply effected over a" cheap flimsy made item ". I only chose 1 star bc they don't offer 0 star's.

It broke a few days after we got it. Not very strong.
