Very pleased. I have trauma-related edema in my upper calf and thigh. My feet swell as a result of my compression stockings. These socks fit better than the prescribed lymphedema socks and control the swelling very well! I don’t know for sure the compression rating but I’d guess 15-20 mm. Comfortable and effective. I just wish they came in a more “business friendly”color for the times I don’t want electric purple or green.

If you are looking for colorful, vibrant material that does not lose its elasticity around the ankle like far too many socks, these will amaze you. However, be forewarned. The black portion of the sock are LINT MAGNETS! Wash these inside-out to limit lint if you have a lot of things that produce lint. If you wear socks to bed like me in the winter (I can’t fall asleep with cold feet), expect them to collect lint if your sheets are prone to offer lint. One solution is to limit a pair or two for this purpose and save the rest for daily wear. If it wasn’t for all the lint, I would have given these 5-stars! If lint is not an issue for you, then it IS a 5-star product.

I bought one pair of these socks to try them for my 12-hour work shifts where I'm on my feet almost the entire time. At first, I thought the compression was too much, but I wore them anyway. I was aware of the compression for several hours with the first wearing. It wasn't uncomfortable, I was just aware of it. After a while I was seldom aware of it. After work when I got home and took off the socks I was shocked at how much better my feet and ankles felt and looked over their usual post-12 hour shift feel and look. They didn't ache like they normally do and there was almost no swelling in my ankles and absolutely non swelling in my feet at all. I'm buying more of these and throwing all my other work socks away!Update 6/5/19: These socks already look like they are 5 years old. They have stretched out to the point that the heel is now up around my ankle and there is so much toe material stretched out that I can barely get my shoes on. The little 'L' and 'R' designating the left and right sock has virtually disappeared in washing on several of the socks that I bought. They are covered in pills and simply look ratty. I have already had to buy new socks and will be throwing these away. Expensive and disappointing.

Excellent socks compared to Thorlos, Nike, Adidas, etc. Only I received two right-foot pairs of socks versus one left and one right.Update - Soar Sports customer service reached out to me immediately after receiving notice on my two right foot sock issue. They quickly offered me a pair of socks of my choice as compensation. I quickly placed the order and purchased additional pairs. Ever since I started mountain biking 20+ years ago, I discovered that even for everyday wear, biking socks are the best. I’ve had the same biking socks for eight years and wear them almost daily. They finally need to be replaced. I was a little apprehensive because of the low price of these socks, but thought I would give them a try based on other reviews. I’m extremely happy and glad I purchased them.As a everyday sock and also biking sock, these socks are great. While not a wicking-sock per se, they do a great job of letting my feet breathe. I also like the added support built-in and the fact that there is a Left and Right sock. The “L” and “R” on the socks make it easy to identify and I wonder why other manufacturers haven’t realized that each foot is different.I should note that I never dry the socks in the dryer. When they come out of the wash, they are almost dry and it’s easy to hang them to completely dry and it will probably prolong the life of the socks. I just ordered another six of the all-black socks. My shoe size is 9.5-10 US and they fit perfect.

I’ve been wearing these socks for about 14 hours, and there’s already very obvious wear/pilling around the heels. They do feel comfortable and supportive, but clearly durability is going to be an issue.But even more annoying than that... I ordered a 6-pack of socks. They arrived individually packaged in their own thick plastic zipper bags, then all of those were stuffed into a bigger thick plastic zipper bag. I literally cannot think of a way for them to use more plastic in the packaging of this product. How irresponsible. The bags aren’t even reusable for other purposes, as the zippers broke on more than half when I opened them. Note to the manufacturer: we have a plastics problem on our planet. Do better.

These socks are great!! I wear a 12.5 or 13 shoe and socks often come up short--literally. These looked a little short in the foot when I unpacked them--from the zippered bag--but don't let that fool you they stretch and they fit! They have a very nice compression fit but are not horribly tight around the ankle. Each sock is made for the right R or left L foot. The socks are the same but those letters are a reminder to put the arch support strap to the inside, under the arch. You will see what I mean immediately. I ordered a 4-pak right after I tried one pair on. Oh by the way I found the colors to be true to the photo too.

These are very comfortable and just the right height. I use them for basketball. I wear ankle braces and I wanted some socks that I would cover my legs high enough for the braces, but not too high and these are perfect. So far, they are comparable in quality to much more expensive sock brands.
