Quality, well built, but TOO BIG FOR KHAKIS
Well built, perfect for Pekin ducks and probably geese and turkeys. Too big for Khaki Campbell ducks. We had to wrap them in towels so they didn't slip through.

Excellent for larger chickens
Really needed this for my larger chickens- worked well for 5-9 ( dressed weight ) birds. Very sturdy- well made and easy to clean

Too big for a broiler chicken
Though this product proved to be too large for a standard broiler chicken, it is a well made piece of equipment, and should do well on larger birds.

LARGE restraining cone for turkey size birds
1/18/20 I bought Yardbird 28277. It's a large restraining cone. All other reviews are for a plucker which shouldn't even be listed under this restraining cone page. I have no clue why "About this item" mentions 3.4"-4-5" !Only on the cone I received does it mention that this cone for 8-15 lb birds... are Jersey Giants, Cornish Cross, Turkey, Geese, etc. I was shocked to see such a large cone upon delivery. I thought turkey. The cone is large. I have no idea why in the "discription" it tells of a medium cone for 2-8 lb birds such as Delaware, Rhode Island Red, Plymouth Rock and Wyandotte. I would much rather have or also have a medium but I don't see any from Yardbird on Amazon, yet there's a discription. My large cone is 18" H on the back, 15.25" H on the front, top opening is 12", bottom opening is 4" in one direction & 5" in the other (not completely round). This is the only area that comes close to including 3 & 4 mentioned earlier. Probably for the medium cone.This review is for a large restraining cone.I hope the seller &/or Amazon can address the problem areas.

Perfect!
Very easy to set up. Easy to clean. Perfect size for my chickens. I processed 25 chickens and they worked great. I recommend.

Good quality——- but.......
Built great but be warned. This is too small for 8-10 week free ranged Cornish Cross. I didn’t return as I’ll need it for turkeys later this year.

Great product
Bought the xlg as recommended for Cornish-x, plenty big enough, very sturdy(do use both holes to mount) easy cleanup and disinfect. I will be buying again. Probably a LG.
