This product was really to assemble but, I had a difficult time installing it. At first it was too long and the springs wouldn't compress enough to install it so I took a pole out and it was way too short. I ended up putting the pole back in and squeezing the hell out of it to make it fit. I bent one of the poles a little. Maybe it's just the height between my bathtub and ceiling that's odd. I don't know.It's stayed in place though.Another thing to note are the shelves are small. You probably only fit two bottles per shelf.

I bought this pole shower caddy to replace similar Zenith one that was over 5 yr old and had two shelves that broke in last 3 months (nothing lasts forever).The unit can be assembled and installed by just about anyone who is not confined to wheel chair, can read at 5th grade level and is able to both open a car door and get lid off peanut butter jar. The tension spring has sufficient strength to hold the unit securely in place without wobbling at even moderate bumps and jostles.It is similar to old one but with improvements. If this one lasts as long will be very happy. It is not fancy or heavy duty, but is sturdy enough for its intended use, IF you don't have children who want to try to do chin-ups on it. The shelves are a bit better designed and deeper. The insert bases are nice too, although not too sure how useful the shampoo bottle ones will be as most tops of our bottles will not fit into the holes. At least there is an extra regular shelf base that I can replace it with. One really nice new feature is the silver tape strips to seal the joints to decrease rusting in this area.If you want an inexpensive, plain pole shower caddy, I cannot see how you can go wrong with this one.

I have had this about a week and so far I am very happy. I gave it only four stars due to the flimsiness of the shelves. We have big pump bottles of shampoo and I am a little nervous that the shelves might not withstand daily pressure. I think I will purchase large bottles without pumps in the future and use the extra shelf insert that keeps the bottles upside down. But it looks good and holds several items. The razor holders are the wrong shape or size for our razors so I had to turn the razors around. I ended up moving them to the container with the hair brush. On the plus side, I like that the shelves can easily be moved up or down to accommodate new items.

I've had this item for about a month now, and haven't had any problems. The unit is made out of plastic (except for the pole itself), and the 'baskets' are snap-together, but it's very sturdy. I've had other units like this before, and on most, the baskets kindof hung at an angle and weren't terribly sturdy. No so with these - they are on good and tight, and hang properly.The baskets are more like shelves than actual baskets, there's a lip around the edge of each one, but no little wall. On this unit, it actually works out find because the shelf doesn't hang at an angle, so there is no concern that anything will slide off the edge.All in all, I'm sure this could have been made to look a little less child-ish, I suppose, but it's a good strong unit that you shouldn't have any problems with.

This was a replacement for the exact same thing that lasted many years. It was easy to put together and fits nicely in the corner. My only issue is with the mirror. It fogs up if I forget to pre-treat it with liquid soap before a nice steamy shower. The new addition is the shelf that lets you put shampoo or other bottles upside down so the product is near the cap and therefore easier to get to when the bottle is almost empty. We were propping those bottles up against others before this innovation. We like it and there is enough storage for everyone's (there are three people in my household) shampoo bottles and other items, too.

OK, so I've had a few of these things. When you're paying under $30, be realistic! What are you expecting, a 25 year warranty? No! You're probably in a rental for a limited time, with roommates and a ton of crap in the shower.That out of the way, this caddy has better components than others I've seen in the same price range. It has cool details like a towel rack and razor holders. It also has thick plastic bands to keep shelves in place instead of skinny little ones that look like hair ties. It also looks and feels less flimsy than other options.Bottom line: if you own a home, pony up and buy something better. If you just need something functional, this will do the trick.

I had a hard time putting this thing together. Eventually I figured it out but then it was too long. After switching out some pieces, I put it in the shower and put all my bottles/shower accessories on it. They didn’t all fit but the shelves were sturdy and had no problem holding 2 full bottles. The mirror fogs, not sure how to fix that. But all in all, it serves its purpose and is actually nice looking.

This is by far the best shower caddy. It has a great shelving system which has hooks to hang facial loofas, wash clothes, etc. I didn't install the bottle holder insert. It is small and in my opinion, not very useful. I had purchased my first probably ten years ago. Eventually, the pole rusted at the foot so I needed to replace it. I searched everywhere until I found this caddy again. I immediately purchased it and received it within two days. I assembled it and installed it. I did, however, wrapped a plastic casing at the foot of the new caddy so that it will hopefully prevent rusting.

I like it. Quite easy to assemble and to install. The trays are made of plastic but are sturdy. They are well made and can store so much stuff. The reason I rate it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the little towel rack was missing in my package.
