Lizard Defense

The first time I used the product was outside an elementary classroom where many lizards appeared on the wall during very hot 70 and 80 degrees days. I waited to spray the outside when the sun was at its hottest and no children were around. I did not wear a mask the first time and I probably breathed in some of the spray. I had a few days of coughing and I can't say if the pollen count was the cause or the spray. The second time I sprayed. I used a paint spray mask and had no side effects. I have not seen any lizards near my house after spaying one time. The lizards are still on the walls at the school, but they avoid the outside classroom door area.

This might work for some people but it did not work for me. We sprayed the entire terrace area the night before n the very next morning a bunch of lizards were sitting right where we sprayed! The nerve of them! Anyway it does smell great though. Like a xmas scent. But I don’t want to pay $26 bucks for an outdoor freshener. Also be careful while spraying cuz we tighten the top and while spraying the entire bottle unscrewed on its own n the bottle fell n some product spilled out on the floor. The lizards even walked all over the area where it spilt. Also incase you are wondering... no it didn’t rain overnight n yes we sprayed a lot. And lizards in every size and color came back. Don’t recommend.

I liked the price ease of use and idea that I can rid my home of lizards. The product seemed to work for about 2 weeks but the lizards managed to come back. The good thing is you can tell the scent irritates them and keeps them away initially. Seems to make them freeze in place even away from the areas sprayed. I was able to grab one and toss it over the river and through the woods 😉

The product didn’t repel the Five-Lined Skink common in this area. Even though I resorted to spraying the perimeter of my balcony daily (I even sprayed the floor of the balcony) I still frequently saw them scurrying along the perimeter.

I had such luck with rodent and small animal defense, that I figured I'd try the same people's product for getting rid of lizards. As a mother of an almost three-year-old and being currently pregnant, safety of ingredients was paramount. I also don't want to harm any of the pests or anything else that may come in contact with this product, so this was a great fit. Coming from Connecticut, no one warned me that lizards (especially geckos) were something of a common thing to run into down here in Mississippi. I quickly learned this after moving here, haha! I love lizards, actually, but geckos kinda freak me out, and no variety is really welcome to hole up in our home. After finding geckos all over the house (in the garage scaring the poop out of me mid-workout, behind the pictures...also scaring me when the pictures were knocked off the wall, in light fixtures...scaring me when I look up to dry my hair and see a lizard stuck in there...) I decided we had to fix this. My poor heart wouldn't hold out with all these surprise visitors, haha. I sprayed this product around the garage door, the door leading to the house from the garage, and around all the doors and windows both inside and outside. It's only been a few days, but I can say I haven't seen any of our usual daily visitors. Usually I have to capture and release two or three geckos and put them outside, but there haven't been any since using the spray. I'm not concerned about my daughter touching the application sites (but I don't encourage it! Stinky!), and overall it's a nice thing to just apply when I think of it and forget it. Highly recommend!

At first I thought this product was working and I purchased it twice. I purchased for myself and a family member that was having a problem with lizards. We both experienced the same. It seems to work with the lizards when you start to spray as they will scurry, but after spraying they still come back regardless of where you have sprayed and the surface you have sprayed. I was really hoping this product would resolve my issues with lizards. It was worth a try and I did try it and so did my family member but it just doesn't keep them away. I do not regret trying the product but I will not be purchasing it again because it has not resolved my issues. I've done some additional research and I'm not sure there is a product out there that will keep lizards away.

I followed the instructions I sprayed the outside where I thought a lizard can get in around the doors and windows and around my house on the ground. I saw a lizard inside on my back door within a few days after I sprayed.I then repeated and sprayed in the same places as before then I sprayed it inside around the doors and windows, a couple weeks later I see another lizard. Repeated again then one day I was sitting on the sofa I felt something jump on my my ear I jumped and fan it off it was a baby lizard and it ran under my sofa. I notice there's a lot of lizards out this pass few years we can't find out how they're coming in. Didn't work for us.
