No one in my family can taste any difference when I use this in baking. Great taste, no calories.

It's not EXACTLY like the old C&H stuff we're used to from childhood, but it's close. Very close. The flavor profile of this, in my opinion, is BETTER than the brown sugar we grew up on....because it's got a vanilla back note. It's really good on oatmeal, toast, and OMG!!!.......SO GOOD ON SWEET POTATOES! It does not really torch well....as in using a kitchen torch to brulee a crunchy shell onto a dessert. Something in that process, I believe, makes the erythritol come out, and then it has a distinct "coolness" factor when melting on the tongue that is sort of strange. But when used in standard ways as a brown sugar replacement, it does a pretty great job, and I don't have to worry so much about blood sugar spikes for my husband, who is diabetic. (Yet oddly, I use this stuff more than he does!)

The sugar free Swerve Brown Sugar is tasty and bakes just like real brown sugar.

As a seasoned gluten-free home baker, I am always on the lookout for ways to reduce the amount of sugar in my baked goods without compromising on taste. I recently started experimenting with Swerve Ultimate Sugar Replacement Sweetener, specifically the granular and brown sugar varieties, in my cookies and sweet breads. While the brown sugar version didn't quite hit the mark for me, I found the granular variety to be a great substitute for sugar in many recipes. I have even started using Swerve in place of sugar when making fruit spreads from my own peach and plum harvests, and the results have been excellent. I appreciate that Swerve is marketed as a healthy, clean sugar replacement, and I plan to do more experimenting with it in my baking. I have already found the "how to bake with Swerve" website to be a helpful resource, as it provides tips on how to achieve a crisp cookie texture. Overall, I am very pleased with Swerve Ultimate Sugar Replacement Sweetener and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a sugar substitute that doesn't sacrifice taste. The only downside is the price, as the bags could be a little fuller or larger for the amount you get. But despite the cost, I am grateful for the alternative that Swerve provides in my family's diet, especially since I am not a fan of the bitterness of stevia. I hope my review was helpful to you.

You won’t believe you can use this on a keto diet! It tastes and bakes just like real brown sugar but does not spike your blood sugar level. Delicious!

I love baking but hate that i cant use Sugar. It gives me migraines. I now use a sugar alternative for baking but most of them just dont cut it.And ive tried them all. Really. I tried golden Monkfruit and its just awful. I would rather never bake again if thats the only choice i have..ha! But now...! Swerve Brown really is the stuff! The texture is spot on and the flavor has such a mild difference you can hardly tell at it its an alternative. I have really sensitive taste buds and can tell when something is off, this is not. I have not one bad thing to say about this product except that we need bigger bags. I love it!!

So I jumped onto the Keto Lifestyle and needed a sugar substitute that wouldn't leave that nasty after taste in my mouth. So a fellow Keto Lifer recommended this one to me and I am so grateful he did because this one is great! I tried a few, monk fruit, sugar on the raw substitute, etc and they ALL left that nasty slimy after taste in my mouth! I hate it. It's disgusting. So when he told me it was good, I took a risk and bought it. I will not be trying anything else. I use it to make homestyle keto ice cream, in my coffee, and other drinks. Definitely the best addition to my cupboard. I even bought the To-Go single packages for when I need to sweeten a cup of joe from a coffee spot. I definitely recommend this product.
