Highest Quality
I have done several DIY solar projects. For safety, I always put a proper sized fuse at the battery. With this MRBF Terminal Fuse Block, I can simply mount the fuse right to the battery post. It is simple to mount, small and very high quality. I only needed a single fuse block, but they had a super special where the dual fuse block was way less expensive then a single fuse block. So I bought the double. This is a very well designed piece if equipment. The build quality is superb and it is made for harsh salt water environments.

Great Quality, high price.
This worked great on my 48v battery bank of 8 12v 280 AH ecoworthy batteries. Save so much wire and headaches with the bussbars. Note: do not get the cheaper bojack fuses as they have not been reliable in my experience. I did not like spending $18 for the better fuse but had to anyway…

Good design and well made
This compact, well-made design worked perfectly in my fifth-wheel RV. I made the switch from lead acid to LiFePO4 battery power with solar charging. I needed a compact device to provide a primary fused circuit breaker right at my 300 Sh battery. This does the job of providing protection at a reasonable cost.

No fuse
Overall good product, the picture shows fuse are there but actually not.

Solid, compact and perfect for my needs!
Where have these been my whole life? This dual terminal fuse block is built like a rock, compact, and greatly simplifies wiring versus ANL or Mega fuses. Obviously the others have there place, but for my 12v build, these are perfect.

This product should be the standard. Excellent!
This fuse system--marine rated battery fuse (MRBF)--was originally designed for boats and marine environments, but it's tremendously useful in any context that involves a high-current battery bank, such as automotive or solar power systems. The product makes so much sense that I don't understand why it's not the standard. Most high-current battery fuses require a cable from the battery terminal to the fuse block, and then from the fuse block to the rest of the circuit. Very unwieldy. Plus the cable that leads from the battery to the fuse block is itself unfused and can lead to a short! This fuse block attaches directly to the battery terminal itself--eliminating the unfused cable and providing support for the fuse block so that it's not just floating in air. It can protect two different circuits, each with its own amperage requirements. And it does so in a nice tight little package that just puts all other fuse blocks to shame. The 5/16" studs are nice and long so they can accommodate the terminal lugs from fat high-amp cables. The block itself can be fitted with standard 5/16" or 3/8" bolts. MRBF fuses are more difficult to get than other types, but they're reasonably priced and on par with competing high-current fuse systems such as ANL and Class T. Note however that MRBF only goes up to 300A--perhaps the only real downside. Blue Sea should take the next logical step and offer three and even four-circuit terminal fuse blocks. To avoid the extra height (or length), they could just make right angle turns. In any case, let's hope this innovative system remains available well into the future.

Great way to connect to your battery
It has always been a problem to get that first fuse connected close to the battery. This little device makes that a piece of cake. It is a solid device with the heft to take the load of having heavy cables attached. The studs are a little long, but that means they are long enough to bolt on a couple of cables with room to spare. I also like that you can get single and double fuse versions. I'm retrofitting my utility trailer and my truck camper with these fuse holders. Getting rid of the fuse holder, and thus the terminal lugs, on the wall next to battery cleans things up and simplifies the wiring because it's now a straight shot to the disconnect switch. The only down side is that most auto stores don't stock the fuses, so keep a spare or two on hand.

Way too expensive for what it is...
Ridiculously expensive. Well made product but you have to question the cost. Quality costs... unless you're being ripped off!

Schlanke Installation

Two posts are (always? never?) better than one!
Replaces an old single-terminal version that was abused for years -- a bad, poorly-maintained cable connection caused heat damage, and even though it still worked, I decided to replace it. Used to connect/protect an inverter in a highway semi-truck. Way better than inline for 2/0 cable; securely attaches to battery post, and that's all the mounting that's required. I didn't need two posts, but I figure if I damage one post again, there's still another to extend the useful life.
