Review: A fantastic story - I really didn't know what to expect when I started this book. However, it's a fantastic read. Full of deception, lies, mystery, murder, and then the players in the story who held incredible parts. The medical professions of surgeons, psychiatrists, hospital leaders always looking for the betterment of themselves. A bunch of narcissistic nobody's who thought they were more deserving than reality. People who cost others their lives, who endangered not only themselves but their families and friends. But, isn't that usually how the story plays out when greed steps in. This story is full of adrenaline, surprising unexpected changes, twist and turns. It's placed in England and France. It runs the gambit of love, lust, jealousy, betrayal, and any and all other human emotions. Plus it was wrapped all up together with a tidy bow of immense fear. I sure hope you enjoy it as much as I did. A great author and I'm looking forward to what comes next. Review: Good Medical Thriller - ๐๐ BOOK REVIEW ๐๐ Oh my this book started at a sprint and kept moving at a great pace. So good. So crazy. The story was easy to read and I enjoyed that it partly was a medical thriller. It was easy to root for the main character, Jemma. As a mom, as a medical professional, as a wife, it was really good. Her husband Tony is total crap and the name Toppy drove me nuts. By the end I was like oh noooo that name. Look forward to reading more from this author.

maybe a touch too fantastic ?
An enjoyable read, I think Mom is a touch unrealistic with her super human strength, though I did get a kick out of it.

KEPT ME UP ALL NIGHT!!!
I couldn't believe how the story kept twisting and turning throughout the whole book. I never got bored. I never wanted to put it down. Just when you thought that you figured out the plot or if a character was good, or bad, "BAM" it changed!!! Great book, I will definitely read this one again, which I never do...

My head is spinning.
This was a long book to read. The first few chapters were a bit slow but you have to stay with it and you begin to really get into what is happening with the characters and how they interact with each other. Then you don't what to put the book down. It has so many twists and turns and half the time you don't know who is doing what. All in all, I liked this book and would recommend it to anyone.

Great Read
Loved this book, it kept me turning the page. Several times I thought "What?! How is that possible?!", and I needed to finish to find out why.

Not a medical thriller
This was a really good thriller but I questioned a few situations in this story. The only medical part of this story is that Jemma is a surgeon and she had to make a quick decision on the operating table in order to save the woman's life. Not only did she do it once, but twice. For someone stealing my husband and child, once is really too much. It's a fast-paced story with a few little twists that kept me interested. I would definitely read more of his work.

The worst thriller I've ever read - I didn't even bother finishing it!
The plot scrambled and confusing - very difficult to follow. There were too miraculous escapes from death which ludicrous. e.g one character was locked in the boot of a car which was driven over the edge of a water filled quarry and managed to escape - come on!

If you like medical details - this delivers
I downloaded this while it was free, so I'm happy to give it 4 stars. It's a decent read with lots of details, but sometimes the writing is a little clumpy. The first few pages especially so. Perhaps the author was just trying to get too much detail down too quickly. Anyway, I persevered and got through. Although it's not really my type of thing, I think if medical details are important to you, you'll enjoy the technical side of this writing.

Slow Bleed
This is an amazingly thrilling and entertaining novel work enticing readers who are interested in medicinal subjects. The story starts with a car accident which develops into complicated streaks of happenings involving a medical doctor's family. Readers will taste dramatic turnabouts one after another of love and betrayal which lead to the unexpected ending between the accuser and accused. you can really enjoy this thriller every minutes of it. The author is terrific in plot making and i enjoyed it as if i peered into a medical story in a kaleidoscope.

At times, it left me gripping my Kindle till my fingers turned white!
I don't think I have ever read a Medical Thriller before so I didn't know what to expect. I can tell you this now, Tim Adler has opened my eyes to a whole new genre with his fast paced, twisty turner thriller that will have you on the edge of your seat. It is hard to write this review without giving away any spoilers as just as you think you know the book is going left, Tim Adler, with a true talent for the art of deception, steers the book right. At times, it left me gripping my Kindle till my fingers turned white, as the tension ramped up. ir that, I applaud Mr Adler, as I am usually someone who takes pride in calling a twist before it happens. The protagonist, Jemma Sands, is a multi-layered character, a mum who has to juggle a tough job as a surgeon and a young son and disenchanted Husband. One professional call sends her life into a downward spiral with fatal consequences and she is soon chasing after a ghost in a desperate attempt to save her son. The book progresses at such a speed that I read it in ONE day!! The only downside for me is sometimes it felt like a little too much happened, but it was writing with such a passion an addictive style that I can overlook it and applaud Tim for what truly is a gripping first book! Don't miss this one!
