I know so many people who don't take ten mineuts to fix their flashlights they replace the batteries and not the bulb. If your going to spend money on a quality flashlight like a maglight they take the time to keep it working, and just like you have spare light bulbs in your house, keep a few of these in a drawer so you have them when you need them.

This is just what I needed for my 4 D cell maglite. I looked at several retailers that all said they had it only to find that what they carried was for 2 cell lights. This is a lot better, easier and cheaper than driving around everywhere and still coming up empty handed. Thanks for being what you said you would be!

Not much to say about a light bulb except the Amazon add-on needed to get it is a nuisance. I needed a bulb and thought of it when I had a had an order large enough to include this add-on item that only ships with $25 or more "sold by Amazon" orders. Don't expect to do that again. Anyway, the six D-cells were still good and the flashlight worked so, I got the bulb. Turns out it was a bit shorter than the part I needed but, a bend on the electrodes contacting the center conductor got it working.Bottom line, it's a one-time purchase. When the D-cells are dead, there won't be a incandescent flashlight bulb left in my house. It's an LED world now.

Worked as promised. I recommend this product.

I order two packs of two bulbs and this is how I received them one pack was fine and the other pack only had one in it.I would pease like to know how this will be fixed ?

I needed these for my 6d and all the stores in my area don't carry the flashlight itself much less the bulb. If you just need the basics for the light then this is fine the better option is the xenon bulb.

I would find something else, to be honest I find costco flashlights better then the maglight too. The only good thing about Maglight is you can hit somebody over the head if you need to defend yourself and I like that they are American made.
