I had never heard of Sand Therapy before, but after reading this book, I can see the many benefits it can provide in therapeutic contexts. The book provides clear reasoning behind the use of sand trays, guidance about exactly how to use it, and gives clear examples to make the concepts easy to understand. It not only educated me on the concept of Sandtray therapy, but made me intrigued by it and all its potential benefits!

This slim book is a good resource for someone just starting to work with clients using a sand tray. The most annoying thing is that there are editing errors on EVERY PAGE (I am not exaggerating) which is distracting and minimizes the author's credibility. I would probably buy it again when buying my first sand tray, but immediately look for additional training resources.
