Q: What is the difference between using your daytime (clear looking) glasses vs. the Crystal? Need it at work w computer in a well-lit office?

Hi, Thank you for your great question. The clear lens type is recommended for full daytime use at home or in a well-lit office. These daytime lenses block out a total of 29,5% of the blue light spectrum (400-495nm). The majority of the filtration is up to 450nm, to cut out a good amount of light in the blue light hazard zone (420-440nm), and at the same time offer minimal color distortion and enough blue light for daytime alertness. The orange lenses found in the Crystal model is made for nighttime use, filtering out 99,5% off blue (400-495nm) and around 70% of all green light (495–565nm). The specific performance is developed to support your melatonin levels at night. With 50% of all light let through the lenses, you get great clarity when on your computer or watching TV.
