Works well so far…
Robust keyless chuck. Hasn’t blown itself to bits like the last one I bought from Amazon. Ok so the last one was attached to my Makita SDS hammer drill on hammer drill mode with an 8mm masonry bit (not SDS) and exploded while drilling the 2nd hole. Moral of this story? Don’t forget your SDS bits…

Value for money
Up to now absolutely great considering the cost. Have deliberately used it on hammer on a 6 inch core drill bit and seems fine. Released the mandrel easily then locked onto an 8mm masonry bit after so all good up to now.

Perfectly fine
Perfectly good for attaching 13mm items (i.e., holesaw) to a SDS drill. Worked nicely. Only not giving it 5 stars because the chuck didn't feel as premium as others I've used, but it's perfectly serviceable.

Do not use with the hammer action.
Over all good, construction good etc, suitable for metal bits and fastened securely, however as soon as you give it a blast with hammer action, the whole thing rattles apart into 3 separate parts, the main chuck part stays fairly secure, the plastic ring and the splined section however just fall apart, easily bashed back into place but, I had one of these years ago that did exactly the same thing from a different seller so, I guess that’s just how they are, so long as you can bash the splined section back down or you reserve your sds hammer action for sds specific bits it’s not so bad

Works well - just don't be that guy that uses hammer mode
Summary: I recieved it, and was cautious about the quality and durablity of the chuck, however this was quickly dismissed as I used it, first time using it was with a mac allister 6.8kg sds-plus drill with 10mm spaded tile drill bits. I ensured it was drill only mode and got to work. The chuck is keyless and knurled for a twist tighten mechanism, this works well, but will unchuck itself should a bit stall or get caught. I like that it unchucks itself instead of destroying the drill bit or twisting the drill. I recommend finding bits that have hex shanks or triangle ground shanks, this will provide a dramatic reduction of bits getting caught and unchucking themselves unnecessarily. Dont be that guy that uses hammer mode with this chuck. It's absolutely not designed for it, but that's not a problem as most non sds bits would get destroyed by an sds hammer action. Because its a keyless chuck and had an sds shank, its super easy to use. Pull the sds chuck mechanism down and slot it in, it's that simple. So far I've used tile drill bits, wood bits and metal bits (all designed for regular drills) with great results, the lower drilling speeds of sds drills means the bits last longer and stay sharper for longer. In all of those uses the chuck handled the bits and sds perfectly, unlike some of the other reviews(I suspect they all used it with rotary hammer mode) To address some of the concerns about quality: The shank was secured to the chuck tightly and has remained tight after use. After many hours of use in drilling, the chuck is still in the same new condition it was when I recieved and I expect it will hold up to the stress and strains in the future I hope this helps you all. Note: I will be adding to my review over the next 3 to 6 months to provide you all with a long term review.

I used a washer plate of approx. 5mm thick and made it to fit at the back of this tool. Now the backend will not come off as described in other reviews.
